Candlewood Suites Alexandria West by IHG

Good parking, felt safe and clean. Starbucks cafe for AM.

I checked out Thursday July 23rd. I left in the PM about 3pm on Wednesday July 22nd.

Smelly.

Terrible reception. The lady at the reception was rude, disrespectful and yelling almost at everyone. Check in was a line and we have to wait for 20-30 mins!! The floors were very filthy and I don’t think they ever vacuumed the carpets and ppl working there really didn’t care if the guest wanted something. It felt like we were some sort of uninvited guests and they are doing us a favor by allowing us to stay at their place.

Staff was very amazing, if I could make that drive all the time I’d definitely stop by Candlewood suites in Alexandria

Nice staff .. and they help you whenever needed… Very safe and close location to all groceries only walk distance. Their bathroom set of bath and their hand soap and lotion are unique.. never get enough of them Some delay in providing the service though it is very acceptable.

Found a cockroach on the bed when we woke up.

Room was clean just had a weird smell coming from the ac. Loved how convenient the kitchen was

The location/area felt very unsafe.

It was a very nice stay. Very clean facility.

A one night stay that was fine, staf was helpful and friendly, location was good.

Yes kitchen was stocked. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean room and facility.

Front desk was helpful, he moved my room because I wasn’t comfortable sleeping by elevator , beds are comfortable It was surprising quite even though it’s next to highway I didn’t hear anything outside

Clean No breakfast but plenty of restaurants close by which I loved cause I didn’t have to go far

Kitchen was fully equipped.

Our basic needs were met, clean and safe room and area and good staff. Plus, the little kitchen is great help for my family.

Hotel had nicer amenities than anticipated. The hotel is a little dated but everything worked well and honestly that makes it better than some of the newer hotels. The only improvement would be providing breakfast.
