Hampton Inn Alexandria-Old Town/King St. Metro

Excellent location and service. 2 blocks from metro station and right in old town.

Great location

Checked into a room that was not cleaned. Unmade beds and dirty. 2nd room had a disgusting rusty bathtub.

I was unaware of the pool being closed. I assumed it would be available given the summer heat.

Breakfast was good. Parking in garage was reasonably priced. Mattress was too high. I’m only 5’. Difficulty getting into tub. Bottom of tub too narrow to stand in.

Absolutely LOVED our stay! Betty welcomed us like we were family, and my boys felt so special when she gave them a little welcome bag of candy & water. Excellent location! Short walk to metro and everything you could possibly need on King Street. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were super clean & updated, and beds and pillows were a dream! Every single staff member was absolutely amazing. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Very friendly staff, room was clean and hotel is at a walking distance to the water and all main shops And eateries. If you don’t feel like walking there is a free trolley that picks you up at the front door. I was pretty happy with the place

The location was perfect, a quick walk to the Metro and trolley stop right outside the front door. The room was nice and clean and lived up to normal Hilton standards. Included breakfast and garage parking was a plus. Highly recommend.

Staff was great. Hotel was standard.. thin walls, ok room style, not cleaned daily without request. Top quilt had a weird tear or burn. Didn’t seem to ne the highest quality.

Location Elevator really was not good.

Clean room. Some staff very helpful, some not as much. Fantastic location. Not great breakfast and extremely slow elevator.

Our room was immaculate and well stocked. We were checked in promptly and efficiently. We were given bottled water upon arrival and during our stay which was wonderful since we had been in the heat. Snacks were available to purchase. They even had Hagen Daas and fat boy ice cream! The staff was amazing. Breakfast was good and kept well stocked. There was specialty shops and restaurants of all kinds. We ate at several and they were all worth going back. Historical tours were available and we were happy to take advantage of those.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We parked somewhere else, based on a negative comment from another reviewer. It appears that the parking is directly under the hotel, but not accessed from in front. I would call the hotel beforehand and ask what street the parking garage is accessed from if you plan on using the hotel parking.

There is a pool that’s not even uncovered why?
