Residence Inn by Marriott Alexandria Old Town South at Carlyle

El Staff increíble, siempre ayudaron a nuestra familia en todo, los cuartos muy limpios, lindos y espaciosos, con una cocina muy buena para cocinar y siempre atentos con la limpieza de la habitación. El desayuno conveniente para nuestro propósito. Si volvemos a DC, nos volveremos a hospedar con Residence Inn.

The staff was very professional and welcoming. Maria at the front desk and the African American bartender (forgot his name) we're both very nice and friendly!

Great place to stay, more than expected!

I always enjoy coming here when I visit the Alexandria/DC area. Nice location. Very well-kept rooms. Nice and firm mattresses. Overall a nice property. You won't be disappointed for this Residence Inn location.

It was a good hotel....

It was conveniently located near the Westin where a work summit was occurring, but they were unable to take my reservation as I was adding days to my stay. I didn't want to move around and just arranged the entire stay at the Residence. Location was great, close to restaurants, metro stations, and my go to for groceries - Whole Foods. I loved that the room had a refrigerator as I was trying to keep to a diet plan that eating out was not really part of. The breakfast offering had plenty of healthy options and coffee was always ready. I plan to just book at the Residence for next years summit. Not a lot of information in the room about the local area, check out time, or amenities. I had my gym clothes but never got to the gym because I couldn't figure out where it was. I learned where it was when I was checking out....bit late.

You didn’t have to go far to get to places The pets that were there. I didn’t know pets could be there

The hotel is very nearby to everything you may want or need. Restaurant, drugstore, market train station etc. It was nice, clean. And the staff was friendly. I did not particularly like that. I was charged $90 for two nights parking. I understand that you need to charge parking but $90 for two days is a lot.

Loved how close it was to the metro to get to DC and arlington cemetary.

I didn’t like the way they charge $40 per night for the parking.

This property is excellent. It is close to the metro and many excellent resturants.
