Reviews

It is a great location - right across from a Metro station! The room and hotel overall were clean! The staff working the breakfast and evenings were outstanding!
-
The suite was great for our family of 4 weekend trip. Breakfast was tasty and evening reception was a nice touch! Being across from the metro made our DC outings super easy!

Our stay was amazing! Staff is very attentive, place is clean and lively, great breakfast and social hour. My son was celebrating his birthday there and we were welcomed to our room with birthday cupcakes and candles. We were so touched, thank you Maria from front desk for your hospitality and going above and beyond. Overall I could not wish for anything to be better during our stay.
-
My only complaint is that locating the parking garage entrance was a bit confusing and the parking garage is difficult to navigate. The parking spots are also extremely narrow, and we had a difficult time as we were driving a mid size suv.

I loved being across from the Amtrak station and the metro. Very convenient location! It was also great to be next to the Trolleys so we could hop aboard when we wanted to go down to Old Town Alexandria. Breakfast was included and the happy hour was a great bonus! Nothing! It was great.

Exceptional

At first everything were great, the front desk exceptional, excellent, breakfast delicious, then bugbeds became a problem, my friend and sister were bitten mutiple times, only to find out that some came back home with us, tried calling to talk to a supervisor about the sistuation, no answer, left message.

The manager on duty went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. We had a problem with our room the first night and the manager corrected it. Epitome of great customer service.

The Hotel is getting a dated. Bathrooms need an update. Carpet needs to be replaced.

We arrived during a rain storm and the hotel had no power. They said they tried to call us but I never received a voicemail. They booked us a room at the Hilton across the street, but knowing I was traveling with 2 adults and 2 children, they booked us a room with one queen bed. We moved our belongings to this hotel and had to ask to change rooms. The next day after exploring the city, the hotel was supposed to call us when the power came back on. They never did. I had to reach out and ask about our rooms. We went back to Embassy Suites and checked into our new room. The hotel had power, but no air conditioning. At this point, fed up with our stay, I asked to cancel our 3rd night reservation. Magically we were moved to a room with “air conditioning”. This room was only slightly cooler than the room without AC. The pool is very very small and can only be accessed when a lifeguard is present. The lifeguard kept coming and going during our stay making it hard to enjoy the pool. We still canceled our 3rd night reservation and left the city to come home early. For a “nice looking” hotel and brand name, it needed many many updates. There was rips in the furniture, the fountain was broken and just felt dingy. The food was good and the staff was very nice and accommodating. I recommend the staff, not the hotel.
-
So nice! Room was quiet & spacious, even being near the elevators. Breakfast & evening cocktails were very enjoyable. Would highly recommend! The one thing we joked about was the chairs in the atrium being too low for the tables, but that's the only negative!

Maria was very helpful and very sweet.

Great location by metro. Great Breakfast. Evening drinks. Room size. Room cleanliness and finishes. Pool area is extremely tired. Corridors on each floor could use a refresh. Food choices are limited and odd outside breakfast times. Evening snacks feel cheap and just thrown together last minute.

The check in receptionist was great. He was very courteous and respectful. The breakfast was fantastic as well as the staff. The room was clean and had an air of freshness
