Excellent location , lovely beer garden and super breakfast.

Fantastic food and a very comfortable stay. We loved the character of this inn, as well as the location right on the high street. The breakfast was exceptional.

It was a lovely place, good food and really nice friendly staff. Very beautiful village with a beautiful church, very picturesque ❤️ Could do with a little update. We noticed a few cobwebs and spiders by the bed and coffee machine. Also, the carpet is a little thread bear and stained in places.

. was not keen on the electric shower

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff , lovely village Room was large - an old quaint Tudor room with authentic wall paintings& vaulted ceilings . Breakfast & dinner were excellent Bed was rather hard , road noisy - we were fine with earplugs Main issue was the parking , couldn’t find free parking nearby as advertised - the only nearby option is paid parking at end of village - apparently there is free parking but certainly couldn’t find anything within easy walkable distance - esp with luggage and dog crate !

Historic pub in the centre of the village Nothing

This was satisfactory for what we needed. We were visiting friends and needed a place to stay. The room we had was rather small but understandable in an old historic building.

Splendid old pub in the heart of the village serving good beer, affordable wines and tasty food. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. Good hospitality facilities in the bedroom. Great breakfast. Free parking available nearby. The bathroom was a little tired and the bedroom carpet badly stained in places.

Amazing breakfast, great staff, awesome location, lovely historic vibe. No air con/cooling in room and it was boiling hot - open window and it's so loud outside on the main road you cant sleep. Wonky, uncomfortable bed. Not particularly clean - slight damp smell.
-
Wonderful old building, friendly staff, right in the heart of the village. Beautiful beams in the bedroom walls. Mattress was too soft and springy.

Great view, great breakfast, beautiful room, happy staff and regulars. Nothing.
