Extremely clean. A little too basic. No frills. No soap provided in bathrooms. The overnight staff could not communicate in Greek or English.

Nice people, clean room, many swimming pools of all sizes, water sliders for children, good breakfast. We really enjoyed our 10 days stay here.

Too big place, it didn't sound that there were specific managers and people to control the safety and make sure everything is running properly. Maybe that's fine fir a 4 star hotel, I don't know. For example no-one was controlling who is entering in the main facilities. For example today there were 2 external people selling different staff in the swimming pool and the play grounds. The person that was in charge at the pool playground was not really active and was not really taking care of the children. Nevertheless the rest of the staff like cleaning ladies, restaurant staff, etc they were trying there best. What I really missed was some kind of attention to the people from the senior management.

1. Fresh cooked fried eggs during breakfast, when the good cook was running the pan. 2. Fresh fruit, especially the watermelon. 3. Proximity to the beach - just a few steps away. 4. The sea was warm & crystal clear. Was also fun to jump in during a couple of windy days to enjoy the waves. 5. The staff was generally friendly, though not very proactive except for a couple. We made the stay work, because we were together and figured out which parts to take advantage of. I would not come back to this hotel if it remains as is. If you’re not fussy about the little things you can be ok here. I needed the little things to be taken care of to be able to overlook the bad things. Unfortunately, even the little things couldn’t be managed hence my poor score. 1. Food - it was generally awful and sometimes appallingly bad. Made from the worst cuts of meat (fat, bone), and always overcooked. 2. Room - very strange cleaning tactics. Irregular towel changes - couldn’t figure out what you would or wouldn’t get, fold your sheets instead of changing them, didn’t replenish shower soap, hand sanitizer instead of hand soap, didn’t rearrange the room back to its typical arrangement. 3. Zero entrepreneurial spirit - no one walking around to take drink orders & deliver them to you. Such a huge financial opportunity not taken advantage of. The guys manning the bars were great, but could’ve been helped with a couple of runners. 4. Staff - no one stepped out of their set responsibilities. There were days where a slew of blow up “things” were all over the property. No one cleaned up. 5. Pool - the water was freezing cold. Hardly anyone was in the pool. It looked nice for photo ops but unusable temperature wise. 6. The sun umbrellas were nailed to the ground. So if you wanted to hang by the pool so you had to either chase or run away from the shade with your sun bed. 7. Water temperature in the room - irregular & surges. There were a couple of days where we didn’t have cold water. Even the toilet was flushing with hot water - quite a strange arrangement. The hot & cold water surges were dangerous when bathing our little one. 8. Beach - zero upkeep of the very small beach space. It could’ve used a general cleanup daily to make the space look more presentable & neat. 9. The walkway system was poorly designed without connections of some obvious spots to make getting around easier. Instead you have to either get on the grass or walk around where there is no access at all. 10. The new part of the hotel is nearly identical to the old - we had both rooms. The only real difference being the walk in shower vs the weirdly arranged tub & shower head of the old rooms. 11. No option to charge to the room.

We were a little concerned to begin due to some of the negative comments on here, but these are unfounded. HOTEL The hotel was fantastic. Staff were friendly and warm on check in and check out (with a good sense of humour!). The room was perfect, with a sliding door to 2 separate beds for our children (6&8) and a stunning view of the pool and sea. The breakfast had lots of different options with something for everyone, with the room being clean and regularly cleared. FACILITIES The pools were super - clean and lots of choice and safe. The slides were also amazing. I thought that my 8 yr old may not enjoy them having been to water parks but still had hours of fun on them. I was particularly impressed on one day when another child had had an “accident” in the pool. The staff member kindly a professionally explained it would be closed for a day and was extremely diligent in cleaning this out and checking the levels. The pools bars had some lovely drinks and snack and staff were super friendly and helpful. The children spent hours in the different pools and really loved it! LOCATION The best aspect is the location. The beach in front of the hotel is perfect - shallow for a long way and perfect for children. The water was amazing and we took a little pedalo over to the small marina where we had the loggerhead turtles swimming around us. There is a lovely restaurant/bar along the beach called Valais and we loved wandering in to the town in the evening for dinner, with lots of great choices and all very family friendly. Overall, I’m so glad we ignored some of the negative reviews we saw. Our expectations were exceeded and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Hotel location close to shops restaurants and bars many overlooking the sea with fantastic views, beaches clean and the sea crystal clear you can spot turtles in the harbour could not fault anything

The hotel was lovely, pools were really clean and could always get a sun bed. The rooms were modern and spacious. Location is great right on the beach in a quieter part with plenty of sunbeds. The staff were super helpful and friendly It would have been more of a 4 star if they offered water in the room, the showers were built up with limescale and so water didn't come out properly. There was only 1 place to get drinks and snacks and it took a long time to be served. Some quality of the food at breakfast could be better.

The pools were fab, the breakfast had lots of variety and the location was great. You had the choice of beach, pool or both. A short walk to town for dinner or shopping. Small fridge in the room to keep a few lunch items and drinks. Shop on site had loads of choice and stayed open until late 11:30 pm. Snack bar had big portions so could easily share. Had an issue with the air conditioner as the door connection wasn’t working (all doors need to be closed). Reception sent over someone five minutes later and it was sorted. We were able to book late checkout as our flight was in the evening, which was great to make the most of our last day. There is a luggage room at reception and you can use the gym showers if needed. There is no dustpan and brush in the room so you can’t sweep up any sand. Learned to wash your flip flops and remove them before going into your room or sand will end up in your bed.

Location was perfect, loved that we were B&B as so many beach bars and restaurants close by for lunch and dinner. Much better than all inclusive. Nothing!
