Staybridge Suites Ames by IHG

Everything was overall great, pool is always a gamble, as you are at the mercy of young kids and it being really loud. Breakfast was great too, missed the Buiscuits and gravy, since it was recommended when we checked in. But overall a great experience.

My entire problem with this facility is they charged the wrong card and the issue is still not resolved

I liked the responsiveness of the staff

Room was clean. Bath towels are so old/used they literally leave small bits of cotton in my hair. Toilet paper roller was broken, easy to see by room cleaning service and not repaired. Told front staff about this upon leaving. The air conditioner works but even when setting thermostat at 70 degrees it keeps cooling down to 66 degrees. Bed was great; furniture nice also; kitchen well equipped. Actually below average despite my 3 star rating.

All was great except the pool was not available for lack of maintenance

Came for the Post Malone/Jelly Roll Concert. Was our second time staying here for a concert and loved it. Breakfast was amazing, room clean, pool is nice, and the staff was friendly, will stay here again when visiting Ames. We do not have any complaints, however, like most hotels, with an extended stay extra towels would be nice and extra pillows are needed. Minor inconveniences and nothing to stop us from staying here again in the future.

Rooms were excellent! No ovens in the rooms and the pool was too small and no hot tub at the hotel. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast and happy hour provided. We like having the 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and a shared living room for traveling with 2 families. Some wear and tear shows in the bathrooms. The happy hour has very limited food selection

The TV couldn't connect to any devices we used. We tried several accounts and different apps for streaming. It was disappointing that we couldn't just log into the TV

The hotel looks and feels brand new (it’s less than 3 years old). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has lots of choices. Would recommend!
