Simple and efficient stay. Overall clean, comfortable bed and air conditioning in the room which was good for the very hot day during the visit. Very steep stairs, to be expected with an old building but something to be aware of if you intend to bring big suitcases or a lot of luggage. Bathroom was also showing some signs of wear with damaged screen and not such strong ventilation.

Great location for central Amsterdam, in amongst the bars and shops. The beds were very comfy and the check in process convenient, as were the lockers for leaving luggage after check out. The shower was barely a dribble and the bathroom was poorly kept and needed some TLC. The coffee machine didn't work and had an old dirty capsule left in it. The walls were sloping over the bed so it felt very small.

Perfect location for a short stay in Amsterdam- close to all the sites and tram. Despite being in a busy area, we weren’t disturbed by noise. Bear in mind it has the typical Amsterdam stairs and no lift!

Location is incredible, rooms were clean and I found the layout charming (although I recognize not everyone may enjoy the winding stairs). There were sounds of music from a nearby club heard late at night but it wasn’t so loud that it disturbed my sleep. It’s in the heart of downtown so so ambient noise is to be expected.
