Adam's Museum House

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The proximity to everything we wanted to see in Amsterdam was great. There was very little privacy because we could hear all of our neighbors every day every hour. There also was no air-conditioning and it was quite hot during our stay which made the room very uncomfortable. When we open the windows for fresh air, there were no screens, so we had many mosquitoes in our room. Our bathroom light was faulty and flickered constantly until we asked for it to be replaced.

No A/C- room gets hot & fan is not enough. -Lighting in the room is very bad especially in Bathroom. Very dark & there’s no fan to suck up the humidity. - Room is very very small barely any space. Was extremely disappointed

Very cozy Bathroom doesn’t have proper ventilation so it smelled a bit damp, also the light flickered and they didn’t change the light bulb even though I asked twice

We liked the location and overall appeal of the building. It is an old building which is what we expected. It was quite warm during evening to night time. There were only two fans for the entire guests population to use and that is 1st come 1st serve basis. Tough luck if you come a little late. Also bathroom was super cramped and small. The rooms are really small but bathroom was very small, even by European standard. The digital check-in was fine but creepy!!!

Great location, everyone on site is very helpful and accommodating. There are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, museums, and Vondelpark is highly accessible. The rooms are a little small and from a design perspective could be improved. The doors are not soft close and you can hear everything along with everyone slamming their doors shut. After quite some time it was a bit annoying especially in the evening when you're trying to sleep. On the basement floor I was close to the stock closet and the electrical closet so it was quite noisy. I'd recommend trying to get a better floor when you reserve. There is no AC, but the hotel is helpful about bringing in a fan if needed.

Easy to hear other guests when they are on any level of the property. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper!

The rooms on the lower floor had really weird layout and big windows to the back area, changed rooms because I did not feel safe there as a solo female traveler. Also very noisy and poor sound isolation so woke up several times because of the people next to me.

Very nice house. Excellent location. Newly renovated it seems. Good facilities. Very clean.

Location and cleanliness

I loved the location near vondelpark and that the room looked out to a courtyard

Next to vodelpark and great location to catch tram and walk from. Elevator in building and AC in most rooms. Daily maid service and fresh towels daily. Drinking Water also provided. Nothing to change or disliked

No electric outlets in bathroom.

It’s boutique hotel which I like - it’s stylish and the location was stylish too I moved rooms because there was a problem with the toilet and no hanging or drawer space for my clothes. The alternative room was better.

cute and characteristic house in great location super convenient. Easy check in and out and luggage retrieval. Not very sound proof and the bathroom in cozy room on lowest floor is really tight. The water tap was too big and too deep for the small bowl sink plus the shower doesn’t drain well at all. Otherwise it’s good.

Very convenient location for a tourist, close to a lot of museums and an amazing park. Stuff was friendly and did their best to solve issues promptly. The room was rather dirty, there were dust bunnies all over the floor. Also when I just checked in, the electric socket in the bathroom was torn out of the wall (this was, however, solved rather quickly). The room was also very hot at first (even though it was below 20 degrees outside). This, too, was solved quickly - they opened a window in my room; however, as the room was on the ground floor, I had some security concerns that they did it while I was out and the window was wide open the entire day.

I absolutely loved staying here! The staff were sweet, the location was quiet and so nice right next to Vondelpark & Coffee Concepts.

The doors slam loud, so you can hear it when people come in and out.

The location right by Vondelpark is fantastic. Having highly popular, quality cafes so close by is a major plus. It’s also just a 10-minute walk to the museum area. The rooms are renovated and spotlessly clean. Staying in a historic building makes it wonderful for truly experiencing the Amsterdam atmosphere. AC & Amenities: There was no air conditioning in our room (apparently available in some rooms, so please check during booking). The fridge wasn't working at first, but the staff resolved it very promptly. Staff & Communication: The receptionists were strictly bound by rules, and we felt their communication could have been more flexible and welcoming. Digital Check-in: The digital reception is a very stylish tech feature, but due to connection speed issues, it wasn't as user-friendly as expected.
