Hotel Bellington

The door at first was hard to find when trying to check in. The hallway smelt weird.

The bathroom was just a bit too small.

You need to call to get a key card to get in...this can be difficult depending on your phone availability/connectivity, especially when traveling internationally. The staff is only there between 11am - 3pm...make sure to coordinate with them if possible to avoid a major inconvenience. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room, but they had a mini fridge, which was awesome!

Location was awesome. On a very “posh” street

Wonderful location with great access to transit The shower was very poorly ventilated which led to unpleasant aromas when guests left the door closed.

Very nice location! A lift would be nice! Hauling heavy suitcases 3 floors is not an easy task! - We should know the hotel does not have an elevator firsthand.

Its near the center and the street is really nice , close enough to walk into amsterdam or take the bus which is also really near

We liked the cleanliness of the room The room is good for one person and it is overpriced! There is no AC in the room. Since it was hot during our stay, we left the windows open and every 2 o'clock in the morning, there was a drunk guy that keep shouting for at least 30 minutes that disturbed our peace.

I like the affordability and the simpleness of the room. We legit just needed a place to sleep. Friendly staff (over phone, never met in person but no complaints!) Checkin was easy, a simple call to get buzzed in, code for door keys and off we went. Check in time is odd hours 11am-3pm… so if you’re busy like us, we never officially checked in (or out). But owners were easy to contact via phone. It was surprisingly quiet, the beds were comfy enough, and opening the windows with the fans running was awesome at night. One lightbulb didn’t work & the shower sorta floods - but clean towels were provided each day and we didn’t need light as we were tired from the sightseeing and went straight to bed once getting into room. Not much to complain about: minor thing that owners can’t do much about - parking. If you are driving there, there is no cheap parking anywhere. Street parking next to hotel is outrageous (7€ an hour), the closest parking lot is €68 for 24 hours. So be prepared. Also be prepared for a STEEP staircase climb to your rooms. Again, not a horrible complaint, just be prepared to lug a suitcase up a mountain. :) we giggled the whole way. Luckily we weren’t too drunk and made it up and down the stairs just fine.

Great place to stay, great location. Sharing a bathroom

The hotel has a very good location, near the museum area in Amsterdam. The room has a small fridge. I enjoyed my stay there. The owner was very friendly and allowed us to keep the luggage in the hotel after the checkout.

Very Friendly Staff, they allowed to leave out bags and were very responsive. Overall, it was fine—maybe just some dust on the door mechanisms.

Great location, comfortable and clean rooms, and the staff were super kind and always willing to help. This was an amazing place to stay for a very reasonable price.
