Very friendly staff (and very cute cats). Allowed me to store my luggage before check in and after check out, and my luggage was already in my room waiting for me when I came back at proper check in time, saving me from hauling it up many stairs. Good breakfast, free coffees any time. Room was nicely cooled with A/C. Very clean and professional hotel

The staff were lovely and so helpful. I had a great time and the location was perfect. Everything was within a 15-30 minute distance, great for both tram links and walking. The 24/7 reception was helpful as we could pop in and out as we pleased and I appreciated that they could hold our bags until our departure time. The breakfast was delicious with a range of breads, spreads, cheeses, pancakes, juices, yoghurt and toppings. I loved that we could have coffee and tea whenever, and they accommodated for my husband's dietary needs. The view was lovely from the balcony and a great way to unwind. The hotel did have steep stairs from ground level but it wasn't an issue for us (a good workout even!). The room was small but had everything we needed and we did sleep very well. The bathroom was spacious enough, but remember to bring your own toiletries. I would recommend this hotel!

The location is very good although the metro station which is supposed to be across from the hotel has been closed for 2 years. There are lots of stairs- but that is Amsterdam. If you can’t do stairs (steep narrow ones) this is not the place for you.

Great staff, location and breakfast. We loved the lobby, is so beautiful. ❤️ Just a warning, I cannot recommend this hotel to people with mobility issues because of the stairs. No shampoo and conditioner.

Perfect location in the top center. Generous breakfast above our expectations on a sunny terrasse. Our room was nice, cleaned every day. Nice welcome compliment was waiting for us. Our kid had a lot of gifts from the owners. Good atmosphere with the two cats living at the reception. only the stairs. We manage to go up and down with our 3 years old kid but it was challenging, I think in Amsterdam it difficult to find a hotel in the center without, so :) Plus we were informed about it

Centrally located to most tourist sites you want to see. Staff friendly and helpful especially getting your suitcases up and down the steep stairs. Breakfast was good. Hot eggs and pancakes as well as cheeses, meats and breads and cereals. Coffee and tea always available in lounge area. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh sheets and towels and garbage removed. Area was kind of sketchy. Homeless guy sleeping next to entrance. A lot of garbage on the street corners. Property and rooms looking rundown. Screws loose in door handles. Safe in room didn’t work. Expensive for size of room.
