Room was very small. Cozy and adequate tho.
-
Great location. I enjoyed the breakfast. Nice view of the canal. We were warned about the stairs, but it was stated that someone would help with the luggage and no one was available when we arrived.

The fan is working good but is not the best. The view is pretty good. The bed is okay. The internet is stable. If you want to enter to your room with any friend or any person, the reception has the condition to not permit the enter with them. The church is so loud every half hour so the hotel should have earbuds to avoid being awakened.

The room was small but had all that I needed

Proximity Affordability Old world charm Balcony Breakfast included Tight quarters in room Loud street noise 37 steps straight up from street to reception. Hot water in the shower came and went every thirty seconds for the entire time I showered.

It was perfect for a solo traveler!??

Staff was amazing! Best employees I've encountered in my fifty years. Courteous, pleasant, and friendly. Receptionists remembered us and who was staying in which rooms... quite impressive. Not a dislike, but be aware: no air conditioning, super soft beds, and narrow stairs.

There was no AC in the middle of summer but at least there was a fan. People were great and great location. The room was so small I couldn’t open my suitcase and use the bathroom door. It was incredibly dated and looked like it hadn’t been updated in 50 years. No ac don’t stay here in summer. Far too small for the price they charge. Way overpriced.

Nice breakfast and very helpful receptionists Room was extremely small and very steep stairs!
-
Steep stairs, no elevator, but I didn't really mind as we were on the first floor.

Location Room too small and too hot
-
Location Return key every time I go out and noise at night
-
Located in the city center, you can walk to the main attractions. Staff always ready to help!
-
Host were very helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way in many regards Not a thing.
-
The location was good. The whole place was unique to Amsterdam - steep, narrow staircases; tiny spaces made comfortable and functional.

Very satisfied with my stay. I arrived a day late due to a canceled flight, but my room was ready upon arrival and friendly staff available to help me get my bags up the narrow stairway to my room. Fresh towel daily would have been nice. Breakfast available daily, but the room is very small for the number of guests, many had to wait in the hallway.

Breakfast was fine. The room on the 4th floor with the narrow stairways was not convient.
-
Execellent customer service, all the staff are very helpful and welcoming! Nice breakfast (basic but you have more than you need to start a good day). Convenient location. Clean rooms with good room service. Comfortable bed. Soundproof of the room but if you don't have loud neighbours that would not be a problem!
-
Good location, 18 minutes from the train station, the hotel is cute in a retro European way. Our room ended up being huge I was surprised. The bathroom is tiny but functional. Free breakfast is always appreciated, tasty but basic. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The stairs weren’t nearly as bad as others say. But I’m backpacking so much easier to go up and down the stairs. Having to leave my room key at the front desk every time we left.

The hotel room overlooked a canal - it was a pretty view. We were close to many of the places we had planned to visit and walked everywhere. The breakfast was nice but don't expect American Style. It was coffee/tea/juice, pastries, small yogurts and maybe some cheese. Adequate but not filling. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the church bells were very loud and rang every half an hour all night long. No air conditioning meant we needed the windows open but it was not ideal with the loud bells and music from the church. Maybe supply some ear plugs for guests?
