Nice place near of everything !!! Quiet neighborhood

The location is good. it can be reached by F2 and F3 ferry. The staff are good. While the location is convenient and the staff were friendly, the stay was disappointing due to several facilities issues. There is no elevator (not mentioned in the description), making it very difficult to carry luggage up the narrow and winding stairs. The rooms are tiny with no space for bags, and the noise from the corridor and adjacent rooms is constant—the doors slam shut with a loud bang. Most concerning was the cleanliness; I found hair on the mattress. Additionally, the bathroom mirror was tiny and damaged.

The Metro station was very near and convenient. It takes only 17 minutes walk and 2 stations to Dam square. The hotel staffs gave ferry information which was a big mistake and takes about 1 hour from the hotel to the dam square. Metro was about 2 Euro only. There was a €10 unlimited transportation ticket for 24 hours. Hotel staffs should give this information.

Small rooms and leak of lift, dangerous stairs

The hotel is easy to reach and conveniently located. You can take the M52 metro line towards Noord and get off at the next station after Central, which is Noorderpark. From there, it’s about 850 meters roughly a 10-minute walk to the hotel. Alternatively, you can get there completely free of charge by walking to the F2 ferry from Central Station. Once you cross the river, it’s just a 7-minute walk to the hotel. The owner, originally from Egypt, runs the place with his brother Akhmad. Both are exceptionally professional, friendly, and down-to-earth, making the stay feel genuinely warm and welcoming. Everything was good.

Ahmed was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is in a good neighborhood. No elevators. No AC, and the room is very small.

Booked room based on price alone, and I won't make that mistake again. Luckily, I made other arrangements, so I never had to sleep in that room. Not clean, 4th floor no elevator with narrow flight of stairs.

Not much. Ferry ride from Central Station was the only redeeming thing about this hotel. Location, staff, room size & layout, cleanliness, lack of fan in room, people sitting outside below room smoking & talking @ 3:00 AM. No elevator & terrible steps going up to first floor room - a definite safety hazard

Great Clean
-
Close location to Amsterdam central, just a short ferry ride away! Old facilities, too be expected. Loud upstairs neighbors keeping us up

Very warm welcome and very well placed hotel. The equipment is becoming a little old.

If you're on a budget and looking for a place that's not too far from the center, Hotel Isis is less than a 5 minute walk to the free ferry that takes you straight to Central Station. Nothing fancy, but clean and decent for the price. Nice staff, everyone I interacted with was helpful and polite. Also the coffee machine in the lobby is great. The street parking is really cheap, around €9 per day or even less on Sundays. The hotel is right next to a mosque, so during evening prayer times, parking spots are hard to find. But, honestly, it’s still pretty cheap, so it’s not a huge issue if you're planning ahead. Also there in no elevator so that can be tricky if you have big bags.

Good place for a decent price. Would go again.

We stayed at the Isis hotel for 3 nights and the experience was good. The rooms are small but spacious and always have a good temperature without the need to turn on the radiator or stove, plus there is only one metro stop to the center, which makes it very central. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience in Amsterdam and at the Isis Hotel.
