Nothing Staircase with no handrail. Very dangerous

Locations and rooms were nice It was under some renovation but we still enjoyed our stay

Posizione molto comoda per visitare la città e raggiungibile anche a piedi. Per il prezzo pagato è una buona struttura. La stanza doppia è molto piccola e c'è davvero poco spazio per muoversi e lasciare i bagagli. Per raggiungere la stanza ci sono due rampe di scale molto ripide, comunissime in olanda, ma comunque non adatte a tutti. La pulizia della stanza era buona, ma comunque migliorabile sotto molti aspetti.

It was a lovely location right near the canal and close to transport hubs. This room should never have been let out in its state of disrepair. The floors were gritty underfoot with dirt. There were no skirting boards on any of the walls. There was an extra door still wrapped up in plastic, leaning up in the corner of the room. This was obviously waiting to be fitted to the ensuite as the current ensuite door did not close correctly and the handle felt like it would fall off, trapping you in the bathroom if you pulled too hard. The room only had the 4 beds, a small bar fridge and a fan that stopped working after the 2nd night. Other items on the list were missing. Only 1 bed had a head board and that was missing several of the felt squares. There was also a corner where the electrical wires were exposed and unfinished. The bathroom was large but there was a lot of black mould in the grout around the walls. There was a new faucet in the sink, however, it had been set up incorrectly with the hot and cold reversed. While the stairs leading to the room were Amsterdam steep and to be expected, the wall coverings were in crumbling disrepair and some of the handrails were lose and wobbly. The room was never serviced during our 3 night stay. Having travelled in multiple city centres in Europe at 1 and 2 star accomodations, this was definitely subpar and should never be operating in its current state. It plays off its location and historical photos.

Fantastic location, great to get anywhere in central Amsterdam on foot. Our room was very compact which we expected but there was no any hooks to hang towels in the shower room or jacket in the bedroom. The deco of the hotel is very tired. Need refreshing.

The hotel is located not far away from the city center. The room had a mini fridge with the tv. The staff was nice, didn’t have any issues with them. The hotel is very small and the room next to us was getting reconstructed and there were a lot of wooden sticks and cans with pains right next to our door. The room didn’t have any hangers, which was uncomfortable. I wish there was more furniture to make it more pleasant.

Location was ok Room was poor. Very basic. Walls were unkempt- toilet/ shower room was poorly designed - sat on toilet could rest elbows on the sink ! Stair rails are ancient & plaster on walls in disrepair with ancient carpet.

Personál bol veľmi príjemný a nápomocný. Lokalita mi vyhovovala najmä kvôli cieľu pracovnej cesty, oceňujem však aj, že tam bol dosť pokoj. Posteľ bola pohodlná, to hodnotím veľmi pozitívne. Schody :) to ale dá očakávať v Amsterdame. Nie všetky elektrické zásuvky fungovali. V izbe bola rýchlovarná kanvica, nie však šálka/hrnček. Prišla som v horúcom období, a tak tam bolo dosť teplo. K dispozícii bol ventilátor, ale nevyskúšala som ho.

It was cheap for location and near everything you need. The heat was alot and the window didn't open very well, stairs are very steep.

Location is very good. Very small room, bathroom has no towel rack, basin is micro sized. The stairs are not for physically challenged people, no lift so big luggage is nightmare. NO facilities to keep your luggage.
