Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great location Shower drain was super slow. No AC in the middle of a heat wave.
-
one day, there was no hot water; and the air quality of the room was constantly and absolutely the worst. There was no AC, only a fan with an unbearable noise.

Location is great. I believe we had bed bugs in the room we slept in our first night. This was our first hotel in our trip and when I woke the morning a/f sleeping in Room 1 there were three bug bites in a row on one hip, and 2 more bites on my torso. We looked at the mattress and found black specks. Hotel disputed that these were bed bugs, saying black specks were pieces of linen and/or that it can take up to a week for bed bug bites to appear and refused a full refund. The fact that this was our first hotel of trip, the three bites in a row discovered sleeping one night in Room 1, and the black specks on mattress make me believe was bed bugs.

It was close to he center It wasn’t clean, the stairs were two narrow so i suggest they should hire someone to help with the luggage because we needed someone to help us since we were on the 4th floor, the bathroom had a very bad smell.

Small place

Proximity to public transportation is great. Within walking distance to lots of shops. Microwave & fridge available in the lobby during lobby hours. Reception staff was helpful and generally responsive. TV/streaming options were good. Heat is set to the night hours, so this can be an issue if staying in the room on a cold day. Softer (additional) light/lamp needed for rooms, overhead light is fluorescent and very bright.

I loved the location. Just a few steps away from the metro station. The staff at the front desk were always very kind and helpfull. Everything was very clean and their living room is a very comfy place for taking cofee in the morning. The noise. I could hear everything coming from the next room. One night they were smoking, I was already asleep and the alarm went off! It was a very stressfull and scary moment given that I was in the basement floor.

I stayed at this hotel for nine days. Everything was exactly as described. The staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting me with any request. The location is truly convenient, situated in a part of Amsterdam from which it’s easy to get anywhere. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The rooms were not very clean, and the overall condition of the place was similar. The stairs are really steep, so I would not recommend this option for elderly guests or families with strollers (which was our case, and it made us feel a bit uncomfortable).

The hotel is in a nice place, in a walking distance from major art museums. As in a majority of hotels the walks are thin and noisy guests coming back from the city at night might wake you up. The stairs to upper floors are really steep.

Location was very good. 3-4 min to metro then 6-7 min to Central Station. The room was clean. It had very steep and narrow stairs. The guests staying at the hotel were a bit too noisy. But overall I was satisfied.

They changed our room at the exact moment when we asked
-
I liked that I was satisfied at the end. Very small room. A bit too noisy during the night but problem solved

There is no evevator, so you have to climb all the small stairs. It is no nice. Our room was not clean enough. I don’t know how many hair I saw on the bed when we enter the room. Walls of the room- everywhere was red dot because of insects. They were all killed and not cleaned. Bed was the most uncomfortable one that we slept. We are still having back pain.

It had mildew in the bathroom The stairs
-
It was hard to charge my phone; the outlets are placed too high on the walls. There is no coffee or tea machine in the room. The TV was off and there was only a very small table in the room.
-
Tiny tiny room, not what i was expecting. barely had enough room to open my suitcase

Superb Location, Money Vs Value
-
Not far from the center. Too steep stairs, not suitable for people with disabilities or walking issues like elderly people.

Rooms were spacious and clean, lots of facilities, big windows to overlook the city, comfortable beds Lots of very narrow stairs but not bad if you haven't got much luggage
