Very good

The location was superb, very close to the city centre, but on an exceptionally quiet street. Be prepared to climb very steep stairs! We actually loved the feel of the old Amsterdam building. The room was giving cool industrial vibes, which was great during the heatwave. Very comfy bed and a huge shower, which we loved. Smooth check in and check out, clear instructions from Alexandre upon arrival. All in all, great value for money. The decor could do with a little bit of freshened up. Not much space to hang clothes, but enough for a short stay.

The unit itself was excellent--very clean throughout, bathroom was large. Location was perfect. Response to needing an ironing board, portable AC, and other questions I had was very quick. I think a welcome guide/manual in the unit would have been helpful. There was construction right outside so it was difficult to take a quick nap in the afternoon. But that couldn't be helped. There was an upstairs tenant with a toddler who kept running back and forth, and it was very loud right above our heads.

Well situated, nice neighborhood. Spacious shower and bath and good sized bedroom. Very comfortable. Be aware of the steep stairway. Typical of the area but can be a bit daunting for older guests. Narrow steps and sharp incline.

The location and the room The property has no lifts, there were very steep stairs that you had to climb with luggage to go to your room. The water in the shower area doesn't drain property due to the floor level being uneven.

This place was almost perfection, it's really lovely and I hope to go back and stay longer in the future. The location is phenomenal, it's in the heart of everything, yet quiet in the evening and has a residential feel to it, very safe and quiet. If you don't like the sound of people moving about on the floor above you, take note, it is an older building with lots of internal noise but that was literally the only issue. The owner was responsive and quick with anything we needed. The steps are intense and there's no elevator, but again, it's gorgeous old Amsterdam so that just adds to the vibe! I can't think of a better place to sleep in that beautiful town and I cannot wait to go back! This place was near perfection!

Great location and the owner was extremely helpful. Warning to older folk, the stairs are very steep. Missing some of the "little things" such as tissues, hand towels, water. We were unlucky enough to encounter a broken tv.

Lovely B&B in a great location for exploring the city . Host was very welcoming and kept in touch with all the check in details needed, which made the process very easy. Great breakfast, lots of choice from continental to freshly cooked if you wanted it. Nothing

Spacious room. Great location. Lovely breakfast. Minor complaints only. It would be nice to have black tea replacement daily. Facial tissues and a hanging spot for a second towel in the bathroom.

Great apartment in great location. In peaceful area but walking distance to all important locations like city centre, museums etc. Large apartment with comfy bathroom, had both the shower and the bath tub. Nicely designed. Owner was very friendly and easy communication. Highly recommended, you will not miss with Commune suits. The bed was not that comfortable.
