City B&B Villa Nicola

The most amazing B&B in Amsterdam. Perfect for relaxing in between the busy exploration of the city. Villa Nicola is cute, charming, very tastefully-decorated, and has an immensely kind and thoughtful host! It was perfect!

Great location, near museums and other sites, beautiful well kept home in a nice area, and the host was exceptional, making our trip most enjoyable. There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Amazing property located a walking distance to many shops, restaurants and public transportation. The room was beautiful and the host was magnificent.

It really feels like we are staying in our own place. Within one day we felt like locals and it's just such a nice quiet atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Nicola, a beautiful canal house in an ideal location for exploring Amsterdam. Werner is an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and gave us lots of brilliant recommendations for local restaurants, bars and museums. His breakfast spreads are truly excellent and his dog Kees is a delight!

The room was beautiful, clean, extremely well curated. Location is within walking distance to many tourist highlights. Additionally, Werner was a wonderful host, this was hands down our best stay in a very long time. His attention to detail, and availability to make our trip enjoyable, was remarkable! Truly enjoyed our stay and can’t recommend this enough.

Villa Nicola is perfectly located in a smart, quiet residential area on a canal lined with mature trees on the edge of central Amsterdam. The house dates from 1890s and retains so many beautiful original features you feel immersed in history. The decor is second to none, reflecting Werner, our host’s, impeccable taste for the finer things in life. From high thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen to fresh flowers throughout the house to a breakfast experience more than meal, Werner’s generosity in providing the highest quality for his guests is clear. This is a truly special property with a truly special, warm host.

Everything was just PERFECT ?. The host has taken care of everything that can be taken care of, down to every detail (from the sweets in the room to calling a taxi). It's luxury, tranquillity, exceptional customer attention in the heart of Amsterdam☺️ I'll definitely go back there if I come to the city. Many thanks! Nothing

A historical building tastefully furnished with a personal and homelike flair. Verner was welcoming and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Billa Nicola is without a doubt the nicest hotel/BB I’ve ever stayed in and I have traveled around the world

This was a true find. Our room was spacious and charming. We had a lovely garden, huge bathroom, very comfortable bed and good amenities. Werner, our host made us feel at home and prepared wonderful breakfasts. He has paid a lot of attention to every detail in order to make guests feel comfortable. We absolutely loved Villa Nicola! This would not be a good place for anyone with a physical disability as there are steep stairs and no elevator. We had no problems with the stairs, but someone might like to have a heads up.

Werner is an amazing host! He’s makes you feel like you are staying at the home of a long time friend. The home is beautiful and amazingly decorated. The accommodations are so comfortable! We stayed in the garden villa as we wanted to celebrate our recent engagement and he went out of the way to make sure everything was perfect ! The breakfast he provides is wonderful as well as the little sweet treats he provides! The location is perfect, located on a more private canal street that is very close to many things if you walk or take the tram ! I could not say enough amazing things about this b&b and Werner as a host ! Also, Kees is a great bonus! If you get the chance, please stay here you will not regret! :) 10/10 Nothing at all ! Wish I could have stayed longer!

The rooms are very large and well appointed. Villa Nicola is located in the center of everything. Werner is the perfect host. Everything, including the bountiful breakfast is perfect.
