Everything! The hotel's ambience and style were beautiful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, and they truly made our stay so special. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Nothing! - some minor issues were that we couldn't adjust the temperature of the air conditioning.

It was in a very nice walkable area. The light in the toilet area was very dim

I really like the interior and the decor and the location is great. The hotel is very clean as well. I didn’t like that my room didn’t have any daylight or windows it was quite dark.

Quiet street in the heart of Jordann, great area and terrific room, so comfortable! Amazing attentive and helpful staff.

Mattress was defective

Great location in Jordaan neighborhood that was outside of the touristy area but still close to everything. We had rooms that were on the ground level and exited to a courtyard but the area felt very secure. The layout of the room was great with a nice sitting area. Nothing to not likes

This hotel was lovely! The staff was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. Beautiful lounge/bar area just off the foyer. My room was clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. The location cannot be beat! Just a 4 minute walk from the Anne Frank House. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay! Great location!
-
Breakfast and bar..staff were welcoming Separation of toilet sink and shower...and no door on shower room...lack of privacy . Room very small..no space for luggage

Overall the hotel grounds in the main areas were exceptionally beautiful. Hospitality was lovely. Very helpful at the front desk and welcoming. One memorable quality was the shower and water pressure. Really nice. The breakfast was ok, not great for the price point. The room itself was beautiful- but not as well appointed as a $700 room should be. There was no water or mini bar, it was tiny, had no view really.. So we will not return.

Beds were comfortable. Spacious room and bathroom. Location was excellent!

We loved everything about our stay. The hotel is beautiful, charming and very well located in the Jordaan, close to lovely canals, shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, and the staff was very kind and helpful. It was a perfect base to enjoy Amsterdam.

I stayed here on a solo trip to Amsterdam and I felt right at home. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the boutique style made me feel like a local coming home to my apartment. The property was clean and very well located in Jordaan.

Hôtel was in a central location in Amsterdam amidst plenty of restaurants, small shops, and cafes. Th staff was hospitable and kind. The deluxe room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view of the garden courtyard. Would highly recommend Hotel Mercier, and we plan to stay at the property again for future trips!

Staff, structure and cleanliness. The showers do not have door. With you are going to share the room with friends or relatives can be a problem.

The Staff No complaints

Excellent location. Extremely clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Smooth check in process. The nearby church bells ring at night - if you are a light sleeper you might want ear plugs.

Great staff! Breakfast was discounted midweek to 11euro/person, and delicious! Carpet looked dirty. No door on the shower room. The sewage smell was intense from the shower drain and we had to cover with a towel. There was also a block the hotel had put on the drain that caused flooding because no one mentioned it or that we should remove prior to showering.
