Amazing location and property. Center of everything. Better towels

The rooftop terrace is an absolute gem above the bustle of the busy city. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the room clean. The shower had good water pressure, and the air conditioner worked great. The ideal location with everything we needed within walking distance, and the view was fantastic. Despite providing our check-in time the day before, and following the instructions to text the property 15mins before arrival, we were not greeted at the door. Had to call all the listed numbers twice before finally getting through to someone. It honestly wasn't a great first impression. Netflix IS available on the TV, but only if you have your own account to log in to, and the TV doesn't have any channels or other streaming options. So if (like me) you don't have a Netflix account, the TV is completely useless. The rooftop terrace IS lovely, but it really needs some love and attention at the moment. The seating is super comfortable, but the cushions are stained and have several large burn holes in them. There's some rubbish caught under the decking, a dirty and faded flamingo ornament lying sadly on its' side in the corner, the plants are all dead or dying (possibly due to the recent heatwave?), and the wood screen that hides the fans up there is keeling over. We booked this stay mostly for the gorgeous rooftop terrace in the pictures, so we were quite disappointed to find that it hasn't been better maintained.

It was very clean and comfortable and a great location. Easy to walk to multiple different things in the city.

Steep stairs

The stairs to the 3rd floor are very steep, it was a challenge to get suitcases to the room.

Serena welcomed us when we arrived and was an absolute gem. She gave us amazing food recommendations (every single one hit), answered all our questions during the stay, and made everything feel easy and relaxed. They even let us check in early and check out an hour late — no extra charge. That kind of hospitality? Elite. The location is perfect — truly walking distance to everything. And the canal view? Straight-up postcard vibes. Waking up to that view just feels different. Overall, it was such a smooth, enjoyable experience. Cozy boutique feel, thoughtful touches, great service, unbeatable location. I’d absolutely stay here again next time I’m back in Amsterdam. No hesitation. N/A

Great location. Room was boutique style but could accommodate 4 adults for 2 nights. We stayed on street level that was convenient but make sure you have the curtain closed when the lights are on cause you ll be like a girl at the red light district Smell of marijuana as soon as we entered the room. No ventilation in the room or bathroom and the bathroom was cold and also humid after using the shower. Bathroom sink was leaking any time we used it. Light fixture on the bottom bunk bed was hanging down loose since we got into the room. Not sure if people allowed to smoke in there but we could smell cigarette smoke in our room and we are non smokers. They should either put smoke detectors in the rooms or ventilation of some sort.

Excellent location. Beautiful room and amazing view of the canals. Loved the bathroom and rooftop patio. I would have given a 10/10 for this property, however the only thing was the bed wasn’t very comfortable, it was a bit too hard for me and there was only a small pillow and it wasn’t very soft either. If the bed was a little more comfortable for me it would have been perfect.

Amazing view! Very quiet (thick windows), considering you overlook a busy street/canal. Hana and Mohammed were very friendly and helpful. I could manage fine, but the stairs were steep and tight.
