Prime location, tiny room but we expected that so no surprise, clean, friendly staff, some street noise and sirens as expected in the heart of a city We are early risers and nothing is open early for breakfast - earliest breakfast in the area opens at 9am. No breakfast offered at the hotel.

Excellent location, you can walk to every part of city. Wonderful canal view of you get a front facing room. There are 2 mini-supermarkets just next to the hotel and a few decent pubs and restaurants below the adjacent buildings. Beds were small but comfortable, sheets and pillows were clean. Toilet and sink area is a bit small, but the shower size is OK. There is a drinking water and coffee machine in the lobby (complimentary). The building is old and sound from other rooms may be heard, but we did not have a big problem about that. Overall it is a good experience, although the price is a little on the higher side it is worth it due to the location and cleanliness. No significant problems except the little bit higher price, but I think this is an issue for Amsterdam in general. We wanted to check out at 12:30 (standard time is 11:00) due to we had a transport arranged at that time, the lady in the reception wanted to charge 50 Euros extra for it, normally many hotels just confirm this kind of simple request without a charge, but again I think this is another Amsterdam issue.

Excellent location in the centre of many attractions and beautiful streets, and the view of the canal from our room was fantastic. Nowhere to put our suitcase but the view made up for that.

Great location within walking distance to museums, palace, restaurants and other sites. Tea and coffee and biscuits available in rooms and downstairs in lobby. Clean and well serviced each day. Room was a little on the small side and there is not much storage for clothing if you’re staying for a few days as we did. That said, we managed.

Great central location. Easy walking distance to all main sights. Free excellent coffee machine at reception. Had an awesome view of the canel. There was some night street noise, but you are in a busy central area in peak time

Fresh decor, good location, comfy bed Broken shower slide, no tea, coffee, milk in room on arrival.. Room was too tight for 2 people. Air cond not very cool.

Location was wonderful, close to shops, restaurants and the attractions of Amsterdam. Room was on the smaller side but still very comfortable and clean with a lovely view of the canal.
