The hotel was excellent and we would highly recommend it. Good staff, great breakfast and very clean. Our room (number 40) was small. I'm always a little disappointed when most of a rooms floorspace is taken up by beds. However, this is Amsterdam and buildings are narrow and tall rather than wide so it's not the Hotels fault. However the price we paid for 2 nights was high nevertheless, especially as our view was of a brick wall next door.

The property was in a fab central location allowing easy access to get to the places we wanted to go to. The complimentary drinks in the lobby is a nice touch and much appreciated. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very good The room was adequate but the bathroom was small and difficult to access the shower as the door opened out left to right onto the toilet seat. Unfortunately there was a lot of dust on skirting and behind the bedside tables, which didn’t look like they had been pulled out. A plastic water bottle had been left under the side of the bed. We were in the basement and the steps were narrow and tight to get to the room. Careful manoeuvre was required!

We loved the location, the staff and the breakfast! Our only complaint is that there is no elevator and so we had to haul all our luggage up and down tiny narrow stairs. Not the most practical for people traveling with lots of luggage. But thankfully the staff was very friendly and helped us with our luggage.

Location was great. Rooms are not large but comfortable. Breakfast was great and coffee excellent. They also have free drinks and snacks in the lobby which we enjoyed. Would definitely return. Nothing

Clean, well maintained and friendly staff. The hotel was well situated with good transport links close by. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Would prefer a solid bathroom door that you cannot see through.

Location very central, and access to transport extremely good. Breakfast very good, My room was small but clean and with everything necessary. Welcoming, polite and helpful. I would recommend it. I was totally satisfied.
