Hotel Pagi

Staff we're all very pleasant and helpful. Location was perfect with roykin Metro and number four and 14 tram literally out the door of the hotel. Luggage storage, complimentary tea and coffee. Comfortable bed. Really clean. Bottom of mirror in bath was over 65 inches high do anyone under 5'5" it was unusable, room width only wide enough for double bed and 12 inch nightstand. Bed should face the other way. The mini split AC was blowing directly on my head. Since there is no headboard switching the head of the bed to the opposite wall would not be a problem. Only 2 hangers. Need more hooks.

The hotel is right in the center of the city. In a very safe neighborhood, very tourist centered. But accessible to almost all rails. The hotel did not have air-conditioning, which is typical in most European hotels. But was very unfortunate given the heat wave. The TV in my room was also not hooked up to the Internet, as there was an Internet issue with the day I checked in. But it had not been resolved by the time I had checked out.

We loved the staff, especially Megan!! They allowed us early check in, which helped a lot! Everything was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower is good! Localization is very good, the hotel is very close to the city center and to bus and underground stations!! The acessibility was not that good! You have to walk up a large staircase carrying luggage! And the room was tiny so you may not have much space if you have many suitcases.

The stairs are narrow, but that's a problem for the entire city center buildings.

For 5 people the bathroom was really small and not enough electrical ports for us to use, we managed but wasn't ideal. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. The room wasn't cheap so would expect this . Tea/coffee was available at reception but going up those stairs with hot beverages was dangerous.

The location. The room needed painting. The door to bathroom needed a good cleaning and the walls were all scuffed with black marks. Which could easily be removed with an abrasive cleaner. It made the room feel dirty.

The hotel was conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to explore Amsterdam and access public transport. The room was small and had the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. While the central location was definitely the highlight

The location was excellent, close to the train station and many restaurants and stores for shopping. You could get on the subway right outside which was handy. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a spot in the lobby to have free coffee. The room was very small and seemed poorly finished. We were between 2 housekeeping stations so it could be noisy and wasn’t very nice to see it when we walked by. We couldn’t open the curtain for extra light because the view was of a pocket in the wall of the next building covered in pigeon poop. There was no shower door so everything would get damp including the toilet paper. There was no chair, only a stool and a table so small we had very little flat surface to put down our coffee or water bottles. One day we were gone for 7.5 hours on a tour and when we got back our room hadn’t been cleaned. The walls were very thin so when other people came and went from their rooms it was very loud. The space around the door was not very tight so the full light from the hallway didn’t allow the room to be fully dark at night.

The only advantage is its being in the city centre. The first thing was about bathroom. It was annoying because the bathroom has so many small flies came from the drains. Second, the shower does not have enough water pressure. Third, the only window in our room directly faces the wall of next block. No daylight comes in the room. The window frame is full of pigeon shits. We drew the blind. The room is stuffy because no fan in the bathroom. We requested to change the room but the staff said hotel was fully booked that no other room.

Location was it’s only redeeming quality Photos & room detail advertised are completely misleading. Property was filthy, rooms were very small with no real furnishings…very drab, not at all like the pictures.

The staff was very friendly and the location was good. Bathroom was more modern and clean. The wallpaper was dirty and the painted walls could do with an update. Towels were old but clean. An extra pillow would be nice.

Very nice staff, excellent location

location The room I stayed in wasn't like the one in the high-quality photos I saw on their website. It was a dark, quiet, small back room with wooden windows. Aside from the location, I didn't like it very much. In addition to the full price I paid, they demanded an extra €3 when I arrived at the hotel. They didn't give me a receipt. I wouldn't stay there again.

The room was fine as a basic room, clean and comfortable.

There is a steep staircase at the hotel entrance and no lift. This fact was not clearly indicated on the website.

Room so small that we could not open the door. I light in the bathroom. Dirty floor.
