It was in a shady quiet location. I know Europe isn’t big on air conditioning but we are here during a heat wave and ours was unbearable! A small fan and few outlets really rendered rendered it rather useless. Then there was the room safe. Wouldn’t open initially. Came back to find it open, but after we entered our code and locked it up, it wouldn’t open again! Except now our passports were locked inside. No one is available from 5:00 pm to 9:00 am and we wanted to be out by 8:00 am. Cost us an extra Uber ride and time lost that couldn’t be given back. Be sure you’re okay knowing there is no assistance available outside of 9:00 to 5:00!

Staff was friendly and helpful and location was quiet. Had to walk 25 minutes to get almost anywhere. Restaurant was closed two days we were there.

To be aware of- we took a taxi from the central train station . The hotel is on property that also serves as a military function. As such there was a gate that our driver was able to get through to bring us to the hotel. However, our other friend said the taxi dropped him off at the gate and he had to walk the rest of the way.

I have stayed at Rooms25 many times, partly due to its proximity to work; but the hotel is good for tourists as well. It's very close to Bimhuis (one of the best jazz halls in Europe), and to Muziegebouw (a concert hall). The restaurant, which was good, has changed the menu and it's even better. Quiet location, far from the crowded touristic city center, but only about 15-20 minutes walk from the central station. Summer is difficult in Room25, because the hotel doesn't have AC, only a portable vertical fan that, well, doesn't help much in warm nights.

The staff The rooms were very hot. The AC did not cool at all.

The location is perfect for us, very near to the central station whether by foot or with the tram. We found a way that wasn't shown on Google Maps. Everything else was expected and mentioned in the description. The lighting is a bit dark in our opinion. Although that could be personal preference. The fridge made a lot of ticking noise and we could hear footsteps from the room upstairs in the middle of the night. That disturbed our sleep a little bit. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. We would come back again.

Breakfast was good but staff was not friendly. Lighting and temperature in the room was very poor. The heating rack in the bathroom did not work and we had to open the window for air. The window would fly fully open with any gust for wind from outside. The elevator broke on our final day.

Walls a bit thin. I could hear everything happening in room next door. I’m not typically a light sleeper but there were a few instances where I was awoken by neighbors. Not a dealbreaker but something to mindful of for light sleepers

If you come late you can late check-in through the lobby’s tablet, its very easy to do and much simpler. Nice rooms too!

I stay often at Rooms 25 because close to work. Also, 20-minute walk from Central Station. The staff is great — helpful, friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant, which almost serves as a lounge for the hotel, is great: modern, beautiful, cozy, with a beautiful view of a wide canal. Temperature control in the room is always trick — both in winter as well as summer.

Breakfast was great, the restaurant manager was extremely friendly The room did not have a working fridge. We complained and were given an upgraded room

Easy walk to train station and to the center. Set on the canal with a nice view of the NEMO museum. Breakfast was very good. Room was bigger than expected! Reception staff were only available 9-5 for the hotel, and not super friendly

A bit out of the way to get to but ok once we'd got our bearings. All in all, a great trip.

Place was nice enough for what you pay and the Location isn’t bad the sheets are very rough, the lights flicker and there is very little water pressure in the shower.
