Chango is a great host! Location is perfect as it is quiet but centrally located. Beds are comfortable.

The Boatel Elodie was a fun Amsterdam experience. The en-suite bathroom was such a bonus, most boats we looked at did not have this feature. Very pleased with the location as well, just a short walk from the Central Station. Our host, Chango was extremely kind and helpful.

Our host was very helpful and friendly. The boat is in a convenient location and while the cabin was small it was comfortable.

The location is great, almost like a hideaway from the bustling red light district which is a 5 minute walk away. The host, Captain Chango is an amazing individual and made ot feel like home. The rooms are small as you'd expect on a boat, but shower and bathroom were super clean and everything works as it would at home. There is a large lounge area to hang out, and Chango is always there to help out, give advice and quickly becomes and old friend. Great experience overall. Rooms were a bit small, but expected on a boat.

The novelty of staying on a houseboat. Just felt the right thing to do in Amsterdam. Very central and an easy walk from the train station. Cabin a little cramped for 2 adults. Not sure what I expected. You certainly need to get on well with your travelling partner as there is little chance of privacy or your own space. Don’t like the fact you can’t sit upright in bed but again that’s my ignorance…. It IS a houseboat afterall.

the room was very cozy and got warm very fast (used heater). the owner was very friendly and helpful:) Not far from the main station. Pretty far from the grocery stores, no mini fridge to store snacks. In the winter you have to be pretty careful while walking up to the boat since there are no rails on the wooden path on the water and it can be slippery.
