It was really close to tram and bus stops, and it also had a good few food options around. The staff were really nice and friendly, I felt very welcomed into the city by them. The room was comfy and more than enough for me as a solo traveller. I would have liked there to have been a vending machine or something for more convenience in getting drinks and stuff before heading out in the mornings. Lunch/dinner would be great options too as breakfast is offered.

The room and bathroom had numerous cleanliness and maintenance issues: stains on the mattress, marks on the floor, mold around the bathroom edges, a broken countertop, broken tiles left under the washbasin, a loose washbasin handle, poor ventilation causing an unpleasant smell, and poor plumbing. The shower was not properly sealed and flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it. Staff also accidentally left a cleaning rag in our room. The communication between staff was equally disappointing. Despite explaining three times (including once on the morning of the last day of our first booking, as we had been instructed) that we had two consecutive bookings under different names and had already paid for both, I was later called while we were out and warned that our room would be emptied if we did not check out. We had specifically been told on the first day that we could stay in the same room and did not need to check out that morning. This unnecessary misunderstanding was stressful, especially since we had followed the instructions given to us and it could easily have been avoided with proper communication between staff. Overall, the poor condition of the room and bathroom combined with the unprofessional communication made for a very unpleasant stay.

The location is very nice and easy to get into the city from. Has a few restaurants and bars around the hotel which are good in the evening. The bed was comfy and the room clean. The tv was good and was up to date with streaming services. Staff were friendly and informative. The kettle wasn’t able to be plugged in where it was so had to be put in the bathroom. The lack of windows was strange but didn’t take away from the room.

I accidentally booked the room for one month later than I intended. When I arrived, I explained the mistake to the hotel, but they did not offer to change the booking for free or provide any alternative. I also did not receive a refund. Overall, I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled.

Very clean, spacious rooms and approachable/ friendly staff. Staff were very incredibly accomodating; we had some issues with our initial booking and the lovely staff at the front were able to accommodate and we ended up being upgraded. Also hotel is very close to city centre, 15-20min bike ride and 7-8 minute drive. Overall loved our stay. Nothing
