It was very convenient and the staff were nice and very welcoming :)

Bathroom was extremely small and shower wasn’t working properly.

The location is amazing if you want to stay in downtown and Dam square . Close to all the shopping locations , food restaurants , touristic sights . The public transportation is very close. Amsterdam centraal station is 15 mins walk as well The room was relatively small with fair house keeping service

There was one rude hostess in the restaurant, but otherwise OK.

It is in an ideal location in the center of everything you’ll want to see. It has a nice, stylish restaurant in the lobby. The superior room was roomy and well appointed.

Staff was awesome and so helpful. Traveling with family and 1 year old twins.

The location was perfect, near everything on foot The mattress was too soft so we had to sit on it carefully in order not to fall out on the ground. I had asked an omelet for breakfast twice but it took so long that I gave up to eat it.

The staff was super nice and helpful in general and with finding dinner spots. The rooms are simple and provide only what you need. We werent' spending a lot of time in the room anyway, so it was a good value. Great location. I always think the towels could be nicer.

Absolutely terrible experience — avoid this hotel if you are traveling with family or children. We booked two rooms through Booking.com for 3 adults and 2 young children (ages 3 and 5), fully in line with the hotel’s stated policy that children aged 2–11 stay free of charge. Even the shift manager confirmed this policy upon arrival. Despite this, after a 7-hour flight, the hotel REFUSED to let us check in and kept us waiting from 9 AM until 3 PM with two exhausted children, a stroller, and multiple bags, while repeatedly saying they were “waiting for a response from management.” No solution was ever offered. To make matters worse, we were later told that because it was a holiday weekend, nobody would respond until AFTER the weekend — leaving us stranded in Amsterdam during one of the busiest weekends of the year with almost no accommodation options available. The staff showed zero accountability, poor communication, and complete disregard for families traveling with young children. We paid nearly EUR 2,000 expecting a reliable and comfortable stay, and instead our entire Amsterdam trip was disrupted before it even began. If you value professionalism, clear communication, or basic customer care, do NOT book this hotel — especially if you are traveling with kids. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.

Perfect location, super friendly staff, rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Would stay here again.

The location was excellent, within walking distance to almost everything and the tram was on the street in front. The breakfast was very good with many choices. The room was a little small but that's all we needed.

The bathrooms were extremely small. No room to move around.
-
Restaurant was good Not handicap accessible, too many little steps which are hard for the elderly.

Location, location, location! Good area to walk in, close to city center and park. Room was spacious and the view from the room was of the lovely gemeentehuis. Beds were very comfortable. Staff barely greeted us and did not explain about breakfast, which we had prepaid. I heard the staff member tell the guest who came after us about the site amenities and breakfast. The breakfast was decent but there were some odd things, like one day no egg cups and small spoons and the next day there were, as well as ‘fresh’ orange juice that tasted like orangeade.

The room was adequate but lacked enough electric outlets and had no USB access. The restaurant was not adequate. For dinner the waiter did not ask my preference for steak and I because Brazilian steak is served rare or medium rare I did not question, but the steak was too well done and there was no Roquefort at all. When after eating it I mentioned it was not very cheesy and he said "oh". Later another customer was served the same meal (by a different waiter) and was asked preference and it arrived with a round of cheese on top. When I asked the waiter he said he noticed that and would ask "his kitchen" then told me that the kitchen erred and that that was the last round of cheese as if somehow I did not get it as it was being saved for someone else. Only after I requested the manager (who did not appear) and some compensation did the waiter comp my dessert.

Lacked charm.

Would have liked to get an early check in option since our USA flights were 13 hours and landed at 0900.

The room had a good bathtub and breakfast was included in our stay. My room had a strong smell of mildew and cigarettes. It was awful. The coffee machine in the didn’t work. No amenities. There was very little closet space without light. The area of the hotel is packed with thieves .
