Location Confirmed reservation. Arrived – room "broken." Walked to a substandard hotel nearby. Staff forced me to apply for "free cancellation" to get a refund, even though it was their fault. I did it, but they're STILL holding my pre-authorization payment. No refund. No release. No integrity. Fix this now.

Fantastic location, respectful friendly and helpful staff, and lovely facilities. It was a great place to stay from which to visit all the local sights.

Friendly and kind staff, willing to help and support when needed. Breakfast was wholesome and more than enough to set us up for a day exploring. Would highly recommend. The location is central to the station and where we wished to visit. We were able to securely lock our rucksacks away on the day of departure so we didn't have to take them with us for a final few hours. We were a bit dubious initially though we didn't need to be. It worked out just fine. Slight mix up with the room to start off with, this was resolved very quickly and smoothly. The member of staff apologising profusely for the mistake and the room suited us just fine. Maid service which was unexpected and a welcomed surprise with fresh towels everyday and provisions.

Across the street pretty much from Centraal station. Proximity to restaurants, shops, bars Hotel prices in Amsterdam city centre in general is high so you’re paying a lot for dated hotels such as this. Walls and ceilings are fairly thin and you hear a lot of movement.
