The location was great, I appreciated the 24-hour desk service. The design was unique and, while a no frills hotel, it was great for what I needed, which was basically just a place to lay my head ? The shower/bathroom was a little tough. The shower has no division from the rest of the bathroom so flooding was definitely a risk.

Right in the heart of bustling Amsterdam. The rooms are small but clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating but there is a makeshift reception area. Can’t beat the location right near train station and all the city has to offer.

Excellent location, not far from Central Station. The room we stayed in was one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. I love the idea that the rooms are designed by students from the art college, but in some cases, the bathroom specifically, it seems like it was aesthetics over functionality.

Cheap ice room great location Clean modern

We wished we knew more about the specifics of our room and the hotel layout when booking. Our room had a window into the main corridor rather than to outside so no ability to turn off the AC and still ventilate. The room was above the main entrance (accessed with key card at night) and on the main corridor with the window we could hear people coming and going all night long. No fan in the bathroom and the shower had no divider so the entire bathroom gets foggy, wet, and very slippery after showers

Room is small but that is Amsterdam Some street noise.

Perfect location for our first time stay in Amsterdam. Very close to the train station, it was a great location, not loud, really a great space to rest after a fun day out and about. It is very near a Primark, near a bunch of convenient stores. There was also a laundry space about 10-minute walk away that was perfect. We had an excellent time. None! Loved our stay.

The room we were originally given was very different from what was presented in the photos on Booking.com. It was extremely dark, with only a very small window, and felt more like an attic room than the room we expected when making the reservation. In addition, the elevators do not even reach the floor where the room is located, so we had to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs. The room was also very noisy, and we could hear a lot of noise from the street throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our experience at check-in was also disappointing, as the staff member at the reception was not particularly welcoming or helpful. In the end, the only way to get a reasonable room was to pay an additional fee for an upgrade, which we felt forced to do because the original room was not acceptable.

Location was perfect for us. We loved how close it was to the red light district. We felt safe coming back late. It’s on a big street, lots of foot traffic. Room was clean and beds super comfortable. Nothing. No complaints.

This hotel was right in the City Centre only a 5 min walk from Central Station. There were many restaurants and businesses in the area and it was relatively close to many activities and sites of interest. The room was not big but was reasonable in size, clean, and the bed was comfortable. We also appreciated the AC which we discovered is not a given at every hotel. The staff was also friendly and attentive. There is no real breakfast but the coffee was good and they did offer some traditional Dutch raisin pastries on the house. Admittedly, this is not a "fancy" hotel. The entrance is basically just a doorway and is easy to miss. The bathroom was clean but a little small and it would have been nice to have a shower curtain as water from the shower did splash beyond the shower area.

We had a pleasant 2 night stay. Positioned in the middle of city, yet not rowdy. The front door, corridor, staircase to reception and elevator (work only once) were not interesting. However, the reception area and staff, in particular made the stay comforting and enjoyable. I can only name ‘Armee’ who checked us in, and Cristiana but the entire staff at all levels were friendly, responsive and professional. They make the stay from good to great. And the room is clean. Nothing

Location is great with walking distance to many popular sighseeng Room was impossible small without any closet and access to bed only from one side. No outlet for chargers. Shower was very small with plastic curtain clinging to a person body No threshold between shower and the rest of the bathroom and because of that water was rushing into bathroom.

Excellent staff.

The rooms were a good size and not noisy compared to the location. The location was brilliant, just a 4-5 minute walk from the main train station, which we needed to Vending machine could have done with refilling every couple of days, few bits and bobs missing - but this is really nitpicking, it was all great :)

Space is too tight and refrigerator wasn't cooling well enough

Great location, close to everything. Room was cp a little small for a group of four but he handled it. The decoration of the lobby. It needs a little more of love
