Great location, super friendly staff. Greeted every single time, helped me out with weighing my luggage! Noise from next door neighbour wasn’t great and walls were a bit not sound proof. I was there on a Sunday night I believe and there was a pub down the road having maybe some sort of event so I could faintly hear the some which made it hard to sleep. Outside of that, on the weekdays, it was very quiet. And I had my earplugs too which made it better.

It’s a historical building with good maintenance. Near to Van Gogh museum and some nice restaurants nearby. Airport bus station is also nearby. No air conditioner / ventilation except a fan.

Small hotel with an excellent locaion near Museumplein, and with lots of connections via bus or tram to anywhere in the city and the airport (the bus stop for bus 397 that gets you to and from the airport is at a 1-minute walking distance). Excellent place to stay for a cultural visit of Amsterdam. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The rooms was excellent for the price paid compared to other options of previous visits to Amsterdam. The hotel, the room and the shared bathroom were well kept and clean. Take notice that it has steep stairs to go up to the rooms, might be tricky/dangerous if you're carrying heavy luggage.

I was only there for one night, but I really liked the place and the staff was very nice and helpful. The location is fantastic, especially for a first time visitor, as it's just outside the inner ring in the Museum District, convenient to the public transportation and the Center, but in a quiet and nice area, and close to my favorite cafe in Amsterdam. The staff was very accommodating, and as it is a small place, I felt I got to know the staff even though I was only there for the night. These aren't problems at all for me, but I want to manage expectations for those unfamiliar. It has steep stairs with narrow threads. Nothing wrong with that and Very Typical for Amsterdam. I like it because it is more genuine and personable, but if you are mobility challenged, you might want to consider a more modern "American" style place.
