Comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast, good location. Rooms facing the square can be noisy in a Saturday night, but the windows are well fitted and the provision of complimentary earplugs is a nice touch!

Nice easy location. Very central. The hall of the hotel is really pretty, beautiful windows in the room. Was given bottled water for free in the room which was nice. AC was also working very well which was appreciated in the heat wave Cleanliness wasn't spot on, especially the bathroom. My towels had some stains on them and shower wasn't as clean as I would have wanted. I had a single room which a bit snug mostly in the bathroom. Toilet very close to the wall, I'm a fairly small woman and my thighs would basically touch the wall. Might be very uncomfortable for someone a little bigger.

Location was amazing. So much to do within a short walking distance. The hallways going to the rooms were a little old and looked worn and dirty. Overall needed a refresh. Main dining area was beautiful art deco.

I received es a warm welcome and a happy birthday upon arrival. They sent me a dessert and a small bottle of prosecco. Which was really sweet. Also checkout was smooth. I have nothing negative to say

The location was very central, we were able to walk everywhere The hotel was very tired and communal areas in desperate need of a refurbishment

It was a very nice and neat, though a bit small room. But you do not expect much in Amsterdam City Centre. I liked very comfortable beds and quality of soap, shower gel and shampoo. Location was also great with plentiful restaurants, bars and supermarkets around + superb access to public transport. Breakfast could have more options, perhaps hot dishes but the downside was limited selection of cheeses. Pretty poor taste and not satisfactory in a cheese country.
