Beautiful street, on a quiet road but eaay walking distance to shops, and straight into the centre of the City.
-
Very close to main museums and in a quiet area just a few steps away from the town center. Room was very small, no air-conditioning or ventilator in the room. Very steep steps to reach the fourth floor.

Location, friendly staff Hotel rooms seemed a bit old and could use some renovation, very small bathroom
-
Very close to the centre of Amsterdam The stairs are a bit high up and difficult to climb
-
The hygiene and ant infestation

Good location near a tram station and close to the Vondelpark and Museumplein. Not much noise from the street during the night Paper thin walls. Could hear everything from the opposite room. Including some teens throwing a party or something. The balcony door barely opened and had to use a cup to maintain it opened

Close to everything and staff friendly and helpful Lots of stairs, no lift

Location was great. It's in the south of Amsterdam, the best tram to get from the Centraal is the 17 and getting off at Overtoom. The hotel itself, given it's age, doesn't have a lift. So you have to lug your suitcases up some precariously steep stairs. I was offered no assistance to do this. Even the luggage storage is downstairs and I nearly fell face-first carrying my heavy suitcase. Again, no assistance was offered here, even to carry my lighter carry-on. The room had no air conditioning, only a fan. I had to sleep with the door that led to a small balcony on the 2nd floor, propped open and the fan on my face all night to counter the heat. The bathroom had no windows and smelled funky. The walls are paper-thin and the doors slam shut. I paid nearly NZD$300 per night to stay here. Absolute robbery. The lack of amenities, the lack of customer service (which seems to be a theme in Netherlands), no assistance offered to help with my heavy luggage, the room itself was small, and incredibly hot.

loved the location and vintage-like interior, the luggage storage was really handy and the staff was super friendly too there wasn't any air-conditioning, which, on the other hand, we knew in advance, so it wasn't such a big deal

Good location, friendly helpful staff Very steep narrow stairs, rooms are a little tired could do with a fresh coat of paint and tidy up
-
Outstanding location next to Vondelpark - very safe neighborhood. Comfortable room, close to services but tucked away so that you don't know they are that close. Walking distance to the big museums and away from the chaos closer to Central Station. You have to deposit $100 for the room. It would be nice if they just used your credit card number on file.
