We arrived after midnight to find the door to our hotel room wide open being held open with a towel and the room stunk of smoke - all of our luggage now also smells of this. The cleanliness and smell.

It was centrally located. It was a bit shabby for the price.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Dam Square was within walking distance, and we were able to get to the places we wanted to visit very quickly. I think the location is probably the best thing about this hotel. I would give it 10 out of 10. Another thing I liked was how well the hotel uses technology. You can check in and check out by yourself, which was quite impressive. The layout of the room wasn't very good. It was very cramped, and it was difficult to move around. Water from the shower also leaked onto the bathroom floor. The hotel corridors were also quite poorly maintained. Getting to our room felt like navigating a maze of narrow corridors. Even though the hotel had a lift, we still had to carry our luggage up and down additional stairs to reach the room, which was quite inconvenient. On the first day, we were provided with the correct towels. However, after the room was cleaned on the following days, the bath mat and hand/face towels were not replaced. Instead, we were only given large bath towels. The internet connection was very poor. I had to use it for a job interview, but my connection kept dropping. I thought the Wi-Fi might just be weak in the room, so I went down to the lobby, but I had the same connection problems there. I also tried using mobile data on my phone inside the hotel, but the signal was very weak. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to properly finish what I needed to do. Considering how much I paid, I wasn't satisfied with the service I received at all. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. There were better hotels available for a similar price, but I chose this one because of its location. In hindsight, it would have been better to stay at a nicer hotel and walk a little further.

Location, staff were friendly and helpful, coffee machine was nice, room was no more and no less than what was needed for a city break like that. Air con. Needs a refresh eg shower tray was chipped, yellowing on plastic hardware. Pillows - either need to be bigger or more of them in each room.

The girls of the reception were more thsn welcome sttending to our needs and giving all information needed

Amazing location for getting around Amsterdam. The staff throughout our stay were outstanding! We were able to store our bags before check in and after checking out to save us carrying them around the city with us. One of our group forgot an adapter and one of the staff members lent us one to use whilst we were waiting for our coach. The room was very clean, however the bathroom is very small. Makes it a bit difficult to get changed and sorted after a shower. There is also no light near the mirror in the main room so the bathroom mirror is the only useful one.

Great location. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The room had a horrible smell.

Perfect location, I have stayed here four times previously however I will not be staying again. Dirty carpets, cigarette burn in net curtain, every time the room upstairs moved it opened the wardrobe, holes filled in and not painted.

Good location, Clean. Bed too small, I stayed for 5 days and although the bed was made the sheets were never changed. It didn't have a kettle or fridge.

Great location, great staff, clean comfortable room The hallways are dirty and lobby toilets smell bad. But the room was nice
