Such a wonderful location with all the necessities of home.

Convenient location and plenty of space! If you’re staying on the second floor, you can feel bad for entering the house late and possibly disturbing the downstairs room.

It is in a great location for exploring the city, very close but not in a noisy area. Frank, the host, seems to have considered every need for the visitor and was very helpful. We had a pleasant and relaxing stay at WestViolet and will be returning next time we're in Amsterdam. Nothing!

We had a wonderful stay. Frank was an excellent host, very welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. The room was spotless, spacious, and exceptionally quiet, with very large, comfortable beds that made for a great night's sleep. We also loved having direct access to the garden, and meeting the lovely cat was a special bonus that made our stay even more memorable. There wasn't really anything we didn't like. Everything was well maintained and exactly as described.

Gorgeous neighbourhood- we felt like locals for a few days. Everything we saw was walking distance, including museums. We luckily had the use of the kitchenette to ourselves and Frank replenished the breakfast items during our stay. We had eggs, cold cuts and toast, delicious coffee and a range of teas. We also used the kitchen table to hang out and have a drink during the day between outings. A definite highlight was the Saturday markets only a few minutes away- a huge range of hot foods, produce and also a flea market. Very glad we experienced this, recommended by Frank. He also recommended restaurants, museums and our discussions about living in Amsterdam were very interesting. Highly recommend, ensure you book ahead. Nothing.

Noted above in my general explanation.

Location was wonderful. Great part of the city, lots of shops and restaurants, and easy to walk to most museums and attractions. The beds were comfortable. The room was a little warm but the host said it was unseasonably warm while we were there. Stairs could be challenging for some as they are quite steep but that is consistent with Amsterdam houses. Noted above in my general explanation.

The location was perfect! Bed was so comfortable and Frank was so kind! wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful big room on ground floor looking into courtyard. Room was warm Bed was extremely comfortable. Just couldnt believe our luck. Wonderful little breakfast room on first floor overlooking pedestrian street. Great self-serve breakfast. Frank was incredibly friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic for restaurants and walking on foot. NOTHING

Frank was a welcoming host. The small details that were considered were excellent and the breakfast was delicious. The room is spacious and contains everything you would need for your stay. Local amenities are close by and tourist attractions are easily accessible on foot.

Dear Frank, thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality and for making this place feel truly like home. Your incredible attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I will always remember this stay for its comfort, the perfectly boiled eggs, and the unbeatable location for exploring Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

The location was excellent. It is near everything we wanted to see on our honeymoon. Frank was an amazing host. The room was comfortable and quiet. The stairs in Holland are basically a ladder with treads instead of rungs. This is everywhere in the region. So just expect it.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights recently. Frank couldn’t have been more helpful before arrival and while we were there. Always came to chat to us at breakfast time and we also met his beautiful cat Blanca! Fabulous location, so central. Close to restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Short walk to canal and Anne Franks house. Absolutely spotless. Sooo clean. Beds and duvets were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was self service with plenty choice Would recommend to anyone who wants a more personal and homely experience. Nothing! But not suitable for people with mobility issues as stairs is very steep.

This place is truly exceptional. The first for room is large with lots of seating and an outside area as well. The location on the edge of the Jordaan is perfect, surrounded by great restaurants and shops. The owner is wonderful, attentive, and let us check in early. I cannot imagine a better stay!!

The breakfast served at WestViolet was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. The location is excellent, everything within walking distance, including restaurants, bars, cafés, museums, and shops. Wi-fi worked very well and it was fast.

For starters, Frank is an absolutely wonderful host, providing tips, advice, use of bikes, engaging conversation, all without being intrusive. The location is phenomenal, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Nothing, we couldn't have asked for a better stay.
