Anaheim Carriage Inn

Check-in was a mess. Got there early stated would pay the early check-in fee. We had 2 cars, paid for parking for the 2nd car. Booked a junior suite (3 queen beds) we got our keys after about 30 minutes of them checking us in. Go to the room there was only 2 beds (there are 6 of us). Go back to front desk to tell them it's the wrong room I paid for. The manager comes out is very rude to the front desk gal for making that mistake. Tells me they're doing us a favor to upgrade us for free to a 3 bed room (a king, 2 queens) they discover the original paperwork they had me fill out isn't even mine. They get it straightened out after about 45 minutes. She then states she'll waive the early check-in. We get to the room the beds look like they're 3 doubles. We just settle in. That night we discover there are only 2 washcloths for 6 ppl. I go to the front desk to ask for 4 more they tell me it's extra because they already gave us 2. I let them know 6 ppl will not be using 2 washcloths. He says ok I will put a note. They wouldn't allow us to take a bagel to our room said it's against the rules no food allowed. Then why are there fridges and microwaves. Also during check-in I was told no cleaning or entering of our room would be done [2day stay]. Which we said was fine don't want anyone entering. They forgot to give me my ID back, realized it about 5 hours later. Went to retrieve it and instead of them letting me know they had it, the put it in our room without entry permission

Room was clean and comfortable. Great location for the parks. Near a lot of things to do.

Everything was good, it wasnt far from the convention center and had a store right next door. They did put me in a handicap room without asking my preference (I have a broke foot, but I would've liked the option to pick a different room. Another thing was the tv, you had very few channels. I won't pick this hotel the next time im in town.

Staff was rude with me an my kids seem like they didn’t like us been there except the main lobby guy he was really nice but could of been a lot better

The room had an odor the TV didn’t offer any cable channels. But the room over all was comfortable semi clean

The hotel is very convenient to everything and very well kept. Also, there was a damaged outlet socket and they repaired it immediately behind the dresser and I also messed up in my reservation and they assisted me with rebooking an extra night

having to pay for ice seemed like a complete lack of concern for customer service

There were no shampoo and better to prepare by yourself.

Very clean room, helpful staff, including housekeeping. Laundry was very convenient and the pool was clean.

I would rate this place 2/5 stars. I don’t normally write reviews but this place was not it, and not worth the money saved. First interaction we had were addition fees that were not disclosed with the booking. Second, they gave us access to an already occupied room. Walked into our room and saw people in it. Not impressed. Got a new room and there was a massive cockroach dead in the bathtub. Our room keys would just randomly stop working and we got locked out of our room on 5 separate occasions. Had to get the keys reset multiple times. Then a random lady just opened our door and threw a magazine ad on the table while we were there in our room. Just didn’t make me feel safe knowing people had that type of access. The breakfast included could hardly even be called that. They had 3 choices of cereal, coffee, different varieties of bread, and fruit. I’ve just had a lot better at other hotels. Also the water in the fancy containers tasted terrible, and when I went to dump out my water there were black moldy pieces that were at the bottom of my water bottle that I had just washed.I’m not being dramatic when I say that that was the worst water I’ve ever had. And it was consistent between the two water fill up stations in the lobby and at the breakfast nook. Overall not a great experience and I would pick somewhere else over this place if you’re on a budget for sure.

About a mile from the park so not super close but walkable. Breakfast was very limited. 3 cereal types, a few pastries and a banana or apple but better than nothing. Television has cable but not HD so very hard to watch. Bathroom light switch was on the out side behind a door that swings out so impossible to use at night without waking everyone up. A little dated but not terrible. Ice was $.25

Breakfast was just bread, orange juice (saw the staff putting water on the juices), yogurt staff will be there to verify you only get ONE per person, only regular milk was provided. You have to pay for ice, and washer and dryer weren’t working and went to the front desk and they told us its not there problem. Hair dryer was not working, no shampoo, conditioner or body wash provided at any time. I would not recommend this hotel AT ALL. Horrible experience
