Castle Inn and Suites

Plenty of parking, easy check in and the place was clean. It is older, but it is pretty well-maintained. The only issues were 1) I had a VIP from Expedia and it said to tell the front desk at check in to get the VIP benefit, but the front desk had no idea what it was, and 2) the bathroom light and fan would randomly go out and you would need to reset the GFI outlet, which was in a different room. Not huge issues, but we were very confused about the power going on/off until I called down to the front desk. Super easy walk to Disneyland main entrance and to Anaheim Gardenwalk.

Room was very clean and staff was super helpful. We had no issues with getting extra towels if we needed them. I can't fault the property for doing upgrades/maintenance while my family was staying, since we were at the Disneyland most of our days. We did receive an email that these things were happening, so it was nice to know before hand. The hotel is only a 9ish minute walk to the parks depending on how fast you walk and the crosswalk. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping around too. Will definitely stay here with my family again.

Loved the location. Everything was convenient. Although we only stayed 1 night, the only concern were the beds, it was like sleeping on cardboard.

The staff was amazingly friendly, the room was so spacious. We stayed in the 2 bedroom family suite with 6 adults and one child. The only bad thing was the bathroom was always busy. But there was plenty of space for everyone.

They gave us a late check out and were very helpful during our stay.

Close to Disneyland

Lots of highlights to staying at Castle Inn! It is close to the parks, the room was spacious and felt very clean. Parking was free as well! Loved that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. There were plenty of channels for the tv. Just wished there was a guide for the tv. I also wish the property told us that there was some construction going on prior to our stay. Because of the construction, quite a bit of parking spots were blocked off and we ended up getting a nail in our tire. But that was just a minor inconvenience that could have happened anywhere. Definitely would stay here again!

The location was the only great thing about it. Carpet felt dirty, definitely needs upgrades all around. Room smelled moldy. The shower was moldy, they use paint and caulking to cover over the mold. Bathroom light was flickering. Not enough coffee in the room for a suite ( 2 bags only ) No comforters only sheets. The smell of mold was probably the worse of it. There was no hot water between 11am -3pm one day. It just felt very dirty and outdated.

walking distance is about 2 blocks to Disneyland but so many people are walking throughout the day and night that it doesn't feel scary.

Loved the proximity to Disneyland and local eats/drugstores. Appreciated the rate for a two bedroom! Staff was pleasant and professional.

Location perfect

Overall it was Avery good stay. Property is clean and well maintained. A bit expensive for what you get, but it’s close to Disney. Would stay here again.

Had a good stay the only problem was that they were repairing the property and they started way to early but other than that it was a great stay

The location of this motel is good. After a full day at the park, it is about a 15 minute walk back. The parking is free (one vehicle per room), which is really nice. The rooms are clean, and the beds are firm. The showers are a bit older and a little temperamental. The staff was helpful and nice. The pool was also clean and reasonably warm. The spa was not any warmer than the pool. That is more like a smaller pool for kids to enjoy, which it also has, a kiddie pool. It would be nice if they had pool towels but they do not. They are happy to give extra towels either in the office or bring them to the room though, so that was nice.

This hotel is my go-to when going to Disneyland. It is close to the park, always clean, the staff is nice and friendly. They go beyond to help their customers. Having free parking is also nice since we drive from another state.

It was a bit disappointing that the spa wasn’t working and we couldn’t get water bottles from the vending machines. Location was great as it was reasonable for my 6yo to walk, and it was close to great pizza and CVS for waters and snacks

If you are going to Disneyland, this is a 2 block walk and is in a great location!
