The Anaheim Hotel

Very noisy and lots of house keeping knocking. Could not sleep well.

Overall we had an ok stay at The Anaheim Hotel. Location is excellent close to Disney, 6 minute walking to entrance, pool is nice and large. The staff were great, especially Mike but the property needs updating. We had a renovated room which was almost done but still noticed a few things not completed. Also had a large cockroach like bug in our room which was luckily at the end of our stay but did put a damper on the end of the trip. I dont think we would stay again.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool area was clean, well maintained, and the Saturday evening DJ poolside was great. The kids loved the play area. The rooms were nice, pleasantly surprised by the size of the patio. Walking distance to Disneyland main entrance was a plus, also within walking distance of the Anaheim Garden Walk and restaurants.

Great place to stay!

No breakfast included in room rate. Hot tub was fantastic but wish it was open later so all of us exhausted from Disneyland day could enjoy it.

We paid an upgraded price for a partial park view room. A better description would be a second floor room with balcony overlooking the hotel courtyard. The only place we could see partial views of Disneyland was from the main entrance so the upgrade was a waste of money. The room was clean enough. Staff were friendly. It was a short walk to Disneyland so location super convenient. The hotel was very family friendly as shown by the amount of families with young kids staying there. The greeter outside the hotel was always happy, friendly and would help out loading or unloading bags and luggage.

The hotel lobby is very clean, nice and welcoming. Parking is nice because it’s very specific so there should always be a spot for everyone’s car. The room was extremely musty. The bathroom looked very sloppily put together with random cocking in places that made it just look so dirty. The pool is huge which is so great. The grass area with the giant chess needs to change its hours. It opens at 8am and you have people screaming right by your window at 8am. This really put a damper on our morning. It was ridiculously loud. There is a lot of security walking the grounds which is nice because the area isn’t fantastic.

I only spent one night but everything was impeccable. The staff was super friendly, and the hotel and rooms were spotless. It’s also a less then 10 minute walk to the parks and downtown Disney. I will definitely be staying here again.

Great location to Disney, very nice staff looking to help and plenty of space on the grounds for your family to move around if you don’t go to the park.

Great location and the vibe at the hotel is old school. Rooms could use some updating but overall can’t beat location and atmosphere.

I love the retro MCM feel of this place it’s like walking around In the late 50s early 60s. Very cool. Staff is friendly and very close to Disneyland and California adventure!

Family friendly and pet friendly! Loved the location to the parks!

10/10 Will stay again

Property was pretty Turned on the heater by accident and it smelled so bad I had to leave the door open for over an hour to get the smell out. Felt like the bathroom needed an upgrade.

This was our first time staying at the Anaheim Hotel and we will absolutely be back! As soon as we drove in the parking lot we were greeted by a kind employee who told us where to park to check in. At check in Candy went above and beyond to make the process easy and exciting. We stayed in one of the newly upgraded two queen rooms. It is beautiful! And the patio attached was perfect for our kids to get outside. The amenities were perfect for families. There is an entire game section for kids, large heated pool and pool side drink service for mom and dad. We took advantage of room service and the food was not only delicious but also at a great price. Our experience was amazing and we will definitely be back!

I DIDN'T LIKE, the day I made the reservation, Booking.com said my card would not be charged ahead of time. The next day the hotel charged my card more than the cost of the first night. I called to inquire and the hotel associate said their policy is to charge the first night. I explained what booking.com said and they said "take it up with them". I wanted to stay close to the Disney's entrance, so I didn't cancel. I guess the hotel's policy is what it will cost to stay so close to Disney's entrance. Then, they charged my entire stay at check in. I guess this shouldn't really matter since I was sort of stuck once I arrived. I'm just not used to hotels doing business with a "take it or leave it" attitude. The room wasn't bad, but I found a few live spiders in my room. Maybe it's the climate in Anaheim, or they don't spend any money on bug control. I think with the correct management and or business attitude, this could be a good place. Proximity to Disneyland. The pool. The Pizza Press. The hotel store. The kind staff. Comfortable bed. The shampoo/body soap/hand soap did not match the quality of the other amenities.

Exceptional

Clean and the beds were very comfortable! It was a block farther down the road than we usually stay but really not a bad walk at all.
