We loved this hotel, new in an older building completely renovated. Cute room, comfortable bed, nice shower, wonderful breakfast (not a buffet). Only cons--(1) sofa pillows kept sliding and back cushions would easily fall. Sofas need some engineering to prevent this. (2) Some street noise. Hotel leaves ear plugs by the bed, but we didn’t really need them.

I like the wooden style of this hotel. It feels warm to me! The room is very clean and housekeeping is very nice. There’s a small cafeteria and a nice restaurant/bar at the entrance. Parking is easy too. Recommend!

The place is huge. Not ideal for seniors. A lot of walking and I like to walk. The check-in process took fifteen minutes, and I had prepaid. Frustrating. Otherwise the hotel is clean and the staff in the restaurant were friendly.

Staff was always helpful. We were in Alaska for the first time. They gave us great suggestions where to eat and what to see around Anchorage.

Close to Alaska Railway Unfortunately our room was ‘miles’ away from elevators, seems that they acquired another building but didn’t add any elevators

New rooms, great toiletries. Safe entry. Got free parking. Staff friendly. Big tv and great coffee maker fridge. Despite air con our 3rd floor room was warm.

Location great to catch a train . Downtown location so surrounding run down Clean warm Breakfast opens at 6 while you have to leave the hotel at 5.50 to catch the train to Seward . A lot of hotel guests catch that train so some flexibility will help We wasted our breakfast coupons
