The staff at the restaurant were very kind and friendly and helpful. The workers made me feel right at home. The turtles are adorable, the beach and sunset view are amazing. It’s walkable to the main road. The room was clean and well air-conditioned. My rooms lack of privacy. Check in and check out are between the hours of 8 and 4. When I checked in, I settled in my room a bit after 4 before realizing it was facing the entrance where cars drive in and out of the property. I could visibly see the cars and they could visibly see me. Management was already gone and I left before management arrived the following day and got back after they left. Otherwise, I would’ve asked for a change of room. There is a translucent curtain and an opaque curtain covering the door facing the entrance of the property. You could see through the translucent shade and even more so at night if the lights are on. If I could see people they could see me. That meant throughout the course of my stay I had to keep all of my shades closed so that everyone coming on the property couldn’t see directly into my room. My room was supposed to be garden view. It seems renovations are also being done so the workers can look directly into your room as they are working. There was nothing shady going on. The workers were at work, minding their business, it was just a measure of privacy. Also, after cleaning, both curtains are pulled back, which means everyone passing the entrance area or walking past the garden could see everything directly in my room wide open. I mentioned this to the manager (simply to suggest making guests aware when given that particular room 9) and she said she’s never gotten complaints about it and that I could just close my shades. Which is a reasonable suggestion if you don’t want to get any light while you’re on vacation staying by the beach. Overall, the location is beautiful, almost everyone was kind and helpful. But someone getting the garden you should be aware that they will have zero privacy.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Chez Batista, perfectly set right by the beach. I especially loved my morning walks—seeing stingrays gliding through the water every morning was truly special and unforgettable. Our room was clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always accommodating, which made the experience even better. The beach can get busy at times, but there’s plenty of space for everyone, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

The beach (but you can also access the beach without staying in this terrible hotel) The only good thing about this hotel is that it is located at one of the nicest beaches of Mahé. We only booked the hotel for one night, but we immediately left the room and looked for a new hotel because it was so dirty and disgusting. The room looked like no one had ever cleaned it before. There were several dead flies on the floor, and fruit flies were flying around everywhere. The jacuzzi was absolutely terrible – filled with hundreds of dead flies. This alone gave us a shock, and we left the hotel immediately. It was not good enough to stay in, not even for one night.

Honestly right before arrival I almost canceled because of bad reviews online… glad I didn’t because the place was fantastic. It’s definitely on the best beach in Mahe as it’s not just pretty, but also protected from the wind. They let us check in at midnight which other properties declined (which was odd because our flight was scheduled at night) and the room was giant, spotless clean… the view from the room was overlooking the beach and ocean. Kids loved the pool and turtles at the property. Wifi worked well. Zero issues :) The restaurant on site wasn’t bad, but it was crazy expensive compared to other spots in the area. Wish there was an option not having to drive elsewhere to eat dinner, but on the other hand it’s most places in Mahe.

-nice beach -villa near beach -long wait time for check-in -too early wakeup service for a transport service to the airport (could be 1 hour later) -need a car to get anywhere cause it’s located in the middle of nowhere

The reception was impossible to find with no signs. The receptionists was very rude and it was apparent she hates her job. You must have a car to stay here because the restaurant closed at 6pm and there is no restaurant close by

The beach is stunning with a breathtaking view , small but nice infinity pool with a beautiful view, the staff is kind and helpful, the food at the restaurant is good, the room that we have was okay for the value and most importantly clean, they have some nice rooms with a sea view but it was fully booked at the time when we were staying. The property is kind of far from the main road and if you don’t have a car, at night is impossible to go to a supermarket or a restaurant as it’s pitch black, even during the day is quite far for walking. So if you are staying you need to plan ahead to get some water or food, as the restaurant is closing around 7 pm if i am not wrong and 5/6pm on Sunday. Also there is no one at the reception at night to assist you if you want to call a taxi, so as i said you need to plan everything ahead.

Beautiful spot, wonder staff, great food. Its worth the stay if you want something more authentic and not a Hilton. Beautiful beach.

I really love this hotel! It’s right on the beachfront, very comfortable, and clean. And the staff are friendly and helpful. A great spot to unwind and enjoy the ocean view.
