The view overlooking the beach is unrivaled. It’s a quiet family-owned resort that is comfortable and clean. We didn’t mind it but you do have to walk up a steep hill and many stairs to get to and from your room and the Main Street.

The staff are very attentive, and courteous, breakfast was simple but sufficient. Rooms were very clean, with really good AC, view from rooms and balcony was overlooking the bay and beach. Nothing to not like really, steps to the higher villas were ... challenging for bad knees !!

Stunning view from the apartment, great spacious room Great restaurant Friendly staff No direct access to the beach, you are supposed to leave the hotel and cross the little road. This is not mentioned in any description and I thought that a direct access (through stairs) was available. Breakfast is quite basic Nescafe in the room was not refilled after the first ones were used. I love waking up and sipping a coffee with the stunning view of the bay before walking downstairs for breakfast, but could do only once. I asked the staff and got a positive answer but probably I was not understood as they kept not giving us any more the days after

It was way over expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by the standard and surroundings. Staff very helpful and excellent service. With what I now know, we would have stayed longer. Unfortunately there was a lot of roadworks going on right now, just below our balcony. However, it is probably finished in two-three weeks time. And it will bring sidewalks to the road, making it an even better location. It is somewhat remote, meaning you will benefit from a rental car. But it is not absolutely necessary.

Excellent view. Very comfortable. Very nice and friendly staff. Good location. Nice breakfast. They even prepared a breakfast for us when we had to leave early for our flight home. We really enjoyed our stay there. Could not think of anything.

Hands down the worst hotel I have stayed in. I have been travelling for 40plus years Staff, breakfast, room , no hot water, gates of property are locked at night . Massively overpriced. Additional charges added to booking.com price

Beautiful property up on a hill by itself with stunning views Heed the warning about stairs. Some rooms require climbing A LOT of them. No restaurant on site, closest restaurant was closed each night I stayed at the hotel but there are takeaway options within driving distance

The view from our room and the location in general were fantastic. The hotel location is a short walk to the beach and a nice restaurant, which we at at every evening. This is a relatively simple and affordable option on an expensive island and we would not hesitate to stay here again. nothing

Loved it. Very relaxed and unpretentious. Awesome views and the staff were all super friendly. Breakfast was very simple. Highly recommend the restaurant just below the hotel. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite right at the top. So a lot of steps - view made it all worth it though!

An excellent view from the room (even better than in the photos). We highly appreciated the "all-you-can-eat yet almost zero-waste" breakfasts with diverse tropical fruit. When we had full-day trips, the hotel staff gave us food packages. Our room was always well-cleaned. There were not any problems with the water. A large amount of insects (flies, mosquitos), especially during some evenings when it was difficult to stay on the balcony (this is, of course, location-related). For elderly people, it might be difficult to climb up the steep path to the hotel. Drivers might be surprised on the first day as well.

The view from the balcony is really astounding. And it’s awesome to have a beach right in front of the hotel. Furthermore i think it’s very convenient that Baie Lazare seems to be an ending point for several bus lines which makes travelling by bus easier. At the time being i was the only guest in the hotel for three nights which was really weird. But the guys from the staff were very friendly and provided me with everything i needed. They even prepared a breakfast for early checkout.
