Clever, clean and modern renovation of a historical building. We enjoyed our stay and the top floor apartment was very comfortable for our family group of 7 adults. No elevator and about 40 steps. Nicolas, Ronald and Yolanda were welcoming and thoughtful. Nicolas was an excellent source for restaurant and city recommendations as well as village history! We loved breakfast, especially the Belgian pancakes! Easy walk to Grote Market and Het Steen for my elderly parents! Definitely would stay again. Nothing

Super cool location and set-up on the room was pretty cool. Very well stocked mini fridge with lots of beer, wine, soda and water options in the room. Nicholas was very helpful and explained everything. Great personal touch. Breakfast was memorable and well worth the extra cost. Not really much to add here, everything met or exceeded our expecations.

Dropping our luggage was easy and convenient. Secure car park only 50-100 metres away. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well and was welcome. The room was spacious. Nicolas was very helpful. The room needed de-cluttering and a proper table/desk to eat at. It was too hot to use the table outside and eat on the terrace. The outside entrance area needs tidying up, not very welcoming.

Nicolas is the warmest host I ever met in my booking experience. He is not only treating it as his work, but also enjoying helping guests, interaction with guests. Nicolas is an aging gentleman. he speaks English very well. he even translated the breakfast menu into Chinese and printed it out for me. Nicolas even prepared big screen in his canteen, and introduced surrounding history. The location is fabulous. directly facing the castle on the side the road. when you go out for three minutes, you will find the big church and famous square. but the room is extremely clean and very very quiet, and very very big. sorry my suggestion is too picky, I hope the canteen decoration is neater.

Everything! The room was so beautiful and large with two bathrooms. The fridge was stocked with beverages. Nicolas was very communicative and attentive. We watched a 5am World Cup match with him in the tavern below the rooms. He was so nice and kind. Location is off the hook…near all the sights. Great stay!! Nothing at all.
