The room was pleasant and location great.

I already knew there wasn’t an elevator, but the stairs are narrow, so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs, which can be quite uncomfortable.

It was quite affordable. The location is very central, and not too much noise either. Lots to see in the area nearby, no need to use public transport. DISSAPPOINTED! Problems: No reception when we arrived around 20:00. Door was inside hotel room, walk up three floors with narrow stairs, bathroom door is messed up. Random cactus in window you need to move to open window. Very big table for no reason. Loose lamp right above head while sleeping. Did not clean after day 1 (because they only have 1 key- that we used), but they never told us on e-mail or phone (they have my info lol), we randomly meet hotel person day 3 and told us to give them key. Then they cleaned, but they did not change bed sheet with blood. No refill of toilet paper (3 rolls for 3 nights max), no new towels after first day, no contacting us, very limited stuff inside hotel room- everything feels cheap. Staff speaks broken english, just felt annoying and super awkward speaking with them. Lastly their pictures were showing 2 single beds, but we had to share a "big" bed.

great location in the middle of town with everything at your doorstep. spacious room and easy communication and access to rooms. you can book breakfast a day ahead of time never met any staff. this is usually fine but there is a city tax you have to pay and it was a bit annoying to figure that out.

Great location for walking around the city!

Have to carry luggage up stairs as there is no elevator. The water kettle was a old-school type where the heating element is exposed to water. The inside of the kettle was very dirty and nasty, so couldn't drink coffee.
-
Location near lots of shops, restaurants and sites although can be loud at night with bars nearby and loud patrons late at night. They did provide ear plugs.
-
Fantastic location right behind the cathedral Just good to know the rooms are basic. Clean, bed was comfortable Nothing upscale

The breakfast was wonderful and the entire lobby/reception area had a very nice “homey” feel about it, and was beautifully decorated. The stairs were a challenge, but they cannot change that; it is a protected building.

The hotel itself was fine overall, but the noise level was quite disturbing. I couldn’t sleep properly because the windows were not really soundproof, and given the busy area, it would be important to have better acoustic insulation. Also, the staircase was very narrow and steep, which made it a bit difficult for me to go up and down.

We had a great stay. The room was nice and quiet. We parked in a parking garage nearby and walked around the area.
-
great location just opposite of the cathedral and in the middle of a lot of restaurants and touristic points, the host was on the moment of check in not present but I got her number in advance and when I called her she explained all details and made us feel very welcome from the very first beginning.

Breakfast was served too late for the day's cycling which started at 9. The bike was accommodated. The room was very pretty and had a kettle for morning tea. The cathedral bell stopped for the night. I took a long time to find the hotel, which has a very small label on the brightly painted garage doors. I had to phone up the landlady. The bars outside were noisy as one expected, but they did close. The stair to the room was steep and not quite well enough lit.

Perfect staff & breakfast No lift

Peggy was the most charming guest. The unique hotel offer amazing breakfast and the view out my attic room onto the cathedral was spectacular The stairs to the third floor definitely were challenging with luggage but part of the unique charm of staying in the old building
-
Great view of the cathedral from room 3

Truly personalized care. Peggy was amazing—she made us feel completely at home. My room had a view of the cathedral’s stained-glass windows, which was magical. The area outside can be a bit noisy, but the hotel itself is safe and peaceful. Free WiFi included. Highly recommended for a warm and unique experience.
