Cleanliness of the floors and bathroom can be improved.

Staff was very helpful, careful with our needs as we were on a pilgrimage. we were family of 5 and two rooms were more than enough for our needs. Special thanks to reception and security staff for making us access way in and out on the unusual hours.

Clean and comfy hotel in near the Anuradhapura ancient site. We had a wonderful stay in charming Hotel Gamod Citadel . Gently refurbished, preserving the old art deco details and yet with a fresh and up-to-date feel. Very clean and lots of space. Wonderfull breakfast with a choice for every diet. Very kind staff and great value for money. Right in the heart of Anuradhapura Ancient City "

Staff were so helpful and considerate ,both the manager and the guy who served us at restaurant. They even managed to prepare us breakfast the days that we had to leave before breakfast time. Tours they offer also have the best price. Swimming pool was very beautiful and large. Breakfast is great especially oat pancakes with coconut filling Unfortunately, Only 2 of the staffs could speak English and when they weren’t present like at late night, communication with others was impossible.

We had a nice stay at Gamodh Citadel Resort. The room was good and the pool amazing. We also liked the breakfast a lot. Nuwan from the Lobby was very nice and he would help us out on everything. Thank you very much! :)

Check in was fine. Staff helpful. Breakfast ok We were given a room on ground floor which looked like an old building. Room was awful with mould & damp in corner wall. Towels looked dirty & bathroom shower wasn’t working. We complained & they couldn’t fix shower. It was quite late at night so they moved us to a newer building on 1st floor which was much better. Bigger room & shower & balcony.

I stumbled upon Gamodh Citadel Resort during my recent trip to Anuradhapura, and I'm so glad I did! This place is truly fantastic. Its location is ideal, being within easy reach of all the major religious sites in the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless and comfortable, providing a relaxing haven after a day of exploring. The breakfast options were a delightful touch, with both Eastern and English selections to cater to various tastes. I highly recommend Gamodh Citadel Resort to anyone visiting Anuradhapura. It's an excellent choice for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Separate livingroom No warm water. Bad wifi - you need to enter new code after few hours.

A bit overpriced, but one of the stays that you’ll find in A’pura. 5km away from Ruwanwali Maha saya. Recommend you to select the superior room category. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Loved the breakfast! Pool is great. Can recommend! Prices are a little bit high considering the facilities they offer and condition of their rooms
