The suites were so spacious and well equipped for our last night of cooking before getting home. The bed was SO luxuriously soft that I don’t think I moved all night. The pool and hot tub were perfect for unwinding after a long day of driving. The design details were so charming. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back for a longer visit.

There was trash on the floor by the curtains when we arrived. There was only one small bar of soap to be used between two sinks and a shower. The ironing board was broken and unusable. No one came to take out the trash or replace the coffee mugs and coffee pods. Not what I expect when paying $300 a night. It was equivalent to a dirty, poorly maintained budget motel. Very disappointing.

This property is caught between trying to be catchy and just being old for the price that it runs. I do not recommend.

Was a great place to stay with my family. Kids enjoyed the pool and room was spacious and clean!

We were so disappointed that what they offer was so meager compared with what we had experienced in the past. When I booked my reservation I was willing to pay more thinking that the breakfast was worth the price. The staff was very friendly, can’t fault them. Room was clean and the bed comfortable even though things are getting a little tired. Next time we will have to find something else for the night.

Great stay! Clean room and wonderful amenities. Loved the Luna Cafe too!
-
We liked our spacious room and the furniture. We had a problem with the streaming on the TV and shows kept stopping and starting.

Upon checking into the room, there was no soap to wash your hands after handling your luggage, etc. after 3 requests to the front desk and 3 hours later, they finally delivered some to our room. The restaurant closes down during the day, not even the store-deli area stays open. So you can’t get a drink or snack by the pool. I was told they would reopen at 4:30, other info said 4.

The property is spacious and close to SOU campus and the theaters.
-
Big clean rooms, pool and facilities clean and a really nice little restaurant on site. We would definitely stay again.

My room, and the whole building as I later noticed, smelled moldy/mildewy/musky.

We liked our spacious room.

We often stay at the Ashland Hills Inn, and always appreciate the amenities and especially the electric charging station which many hotels do not provide. We look forward to our next trip!

Room was not ready for 4 pm check in. Promised for 4:15. Actually not available until after 4:30. Furnishings were low quality - chipped plastic table, lumpy pillow, worn out bedding, one bedroom light didn’t work, bathroom had one super bright overhead light connected to a noisy fan, we got two paper cups for the entire stay, no closet to hang clothes. Quality was so poor that we didn’t even try the cafe. We checked out as soon as possible and will never go back.

Our toilet did not work when arrived. We were told maintenance would come by and fix it. They not come until the following day. Also when asking for a room refresh, twice, housekeeping still did not come. We had to call the front desk for fresh towels at 10pm at night. Not the best experience.

There was some confusion about how many beds the room had despite my reservation stating 2 queen beds. There was only one queen bed available per the staff. They supplied two roll on beds to make up for the difference, gave us coupons for free breakfast and waived the facility fee to make up for the confusion. However, upon entering the room, there were actually two queen beds and a king bed so all the fuss was unnecessary. Apparently it was a room previously used as an appartment and now furnished as a suite. It all worked out beautifully in the end. The staff was very helpful and kind!
