Ashland Motel - Oregon

Was there to pick up my daughter from SOU. Location is good. Place is clean, though nothing special. Fine for an overnight stay with no plans to do anything in the room except sleep.

This was my sixth motel stay in seven days of road tripping and it was a delightful surprise. The exterior is quite modest - sort of a dated Route 66 vibe - but my room was bright and modern, with bamboo floors and a beautiful stone-tiled shower. It was 98 degrees in Ashland but the small AC unit performed extremely well and the room was cool and very comfortable. All the amenities I needed (microwave, fridge and especially blow dryer) were there. Of all my motel stays on this trip, including at some of the big-name chains, I had the very best night's sleep at the Ashland Inn. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was clean. No housekeeping done by staff. AC worked fine. Staff friendly.

Convenient

Not much of anything. If I had to say something it was the mattress was comfortable. Absolutely zero atmosphere, no amenities, no trees or landscaping, old air conditioning unit, small room, small bathroom.

Comfortable bed

Great location. It is quiet considering it is on a main road. Easy access to the main downtown area of Ashland. You could walk if you don't mind a mile or so or its a short drive. The owner was very helpful in telling me all the convenient places I could charge my EV. There are some free city chargers in a lot a few doors down from the Post Office. We could walk to dinner and charge there while we ate. They are destination chargers, so they are slow, but again- they are free. Friendly, helpful management. It met all of our expectations.

Newly renovated room in an older property was nicely done. Clean. Nice bathroom. Comfortable bed. Owner helped us with car trouble, and provided us with extra towels. Located about a mile from downtown Ashland. Great value. Recommend! The fitted sheet kept coming off the bed overnight while sleeping.

The room was bigger than expected, and everything looked recently upgraded. Outside is very plain, but inside - wow. Very comfortable bed. It's always great to have a fridge a desk and a chair. Appreciated the bench very much. And there is a terrific breakfast place RIGHT NEXT DOOR! We walked to the Oregon Shakespeare festival each evening - a mile walk, but worth it. I wish the pool had been open - other hotels had their pool open. I know Oregon isn't a very friendly state, and I try not to expect a smile with service, I really do... but I sure wish people would make me feel like they were happy to see me when I give them business.

Location and room were great, clean new bathrooms and service was excellent and on point. The body wash in the shower was out. That's it.

Room was very clean and bed was comfy The water was hot. No cold water. No where to sit. Very noisy air conditioner that worked to some extent but was either blowing freezing air or not cooling.

Great location…Excellent walking distance to OSF and right next door for breakfast. Shower was lovely. Room was very dark - more light would be helpful.

The floor wasn't swept from previous guests, cheap power strips hanging from outlets, Keurig was broke and soap dispensers barely eked out any soap. On the positive, easy parking, comfy enough beds, clean towels, good hot water pressure and cheap.
