Everything is good except smell of cheap, sharp and unpleasant smell of fragrance in the rooms.

I like almost everything of this hotel; the location, foods, staff, room view etc. The only thing that I might comment was the air-conditioning in the room. It gets a bit warm during day time.

Dust on the furniture, dust under the bed, dust everywhere because housekeeping do they work superficially. Very indifferent staff. The elevators really slow, it’s been a while when you get on the highest floor. Sad, old and unkempt hotel. And the breakfast is tasteless.

Location is great. Very clean, good breakfast and a nice pool with jacuzzi and spa. I stayed with my 7-old son, and he was not provided the towels and shampoo. I could have asked, but didn’t mind that much.

The bathroom was great, with its underfloor heating and grohe tapware. bed and pillows were comfy. nice and central, and close to the big tent shopping centre. minibar was a surprise even though i didnt have anything from it. i was put in a room that was above where the external ventilation units are, so there was a humming noise the whole night long. definitely not a 5 star experience, the much cheaper apartment i rented in almaty was far far more peaceful in atmosphere. staff were also a bit cold, would have expected more personable interaction for this level of hotel. i think the ventilation system needs to be renovated as well, it was noisy and im not sure it would cope with the extremes of astana's weather. breakfast selection also pretty average, expected more stone fruit.
