Breakfast and onsen were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. The train station is a 15 minute uphill walk from the hotel. There is a shuttle bus to the station, but seats need to be reserved in advance.

Beautiful location with gorgeous seaside views. The onsen was clean and well maintained. The room with double beds and a tatami-mat area with futons was a nice blend and offered options for sleeping. The meals were exceptional. We had a set dinner and a buffet breakfast, and both were beyond expectations. Staff were very helpful. It was not made clear at time of booking that tattoos would not be accepted uncovered in the onsen, and they went out of their way to help us get bandages to cover tattoos to use the bath. The rooms are quite dated, with older carpet. Not a lot of towels or amenities in the washroom.

Close to Atami Station so it’s easy to reach the Main Street. The way from the elevator to the room is outdoor so it’s cold in the winter. Breakfast hall is too old, needs renovation.

The staff were very friendly and the buffet is good value for money. Access is difficult, even with a car. There is a car park but you aren't allowed to park there, just drop off luggage. You then need to park at a private paid carpark down the hill. Then you walk back up a large hill, enter the hotel from the rooftop and go down to the lobby to collect your bags and check in. The room is old and needs renovation, very similar to 1980s beach resorts in Australia.
