Quiet place, near from the beach, comfortable ambient. I like the chair in the tatami room. I read a book while hanging on it. Free coffee and tea available. Nothing

A friendly property owner/staff who explained everything and gave recommendations. Has been surprised to find ear plugs in a hostel for the first time(didn’t use them because other guests were respectful and quiet). Very clean and the overall space felt artsy. Oh! And a short 3-minute walk from promenade and bus stop in the other direction to Atami station. Plenty of food options and combinis nearby. And most importantly - felt safe as a female solo traveler. Thank you for a great stay. None.

comfy. I asked for staff's recommendation for local onsets and he made some very good suggestions which cannot be searched online. The bath in the hostel is new. I wanted to go to sonsen the next day after check out. And I waited until fireworks. The staff is very kind and let me put my luggge until 9pm. He also reminded me of the busy transportation after fireworks.

Perfect location at the Harbour and seaside of Atami, including the beach. Wonderful all day, especially early in the morning and at sunset. Great restaurants and Atami Ginza as well as an amusement area close to the river all within a few minutes walking. The Japanese style room was minimalist but very nice and generous. The host was really charming and I would have stayed two weeks longer there but had to return to Germany. As it is minimalist there are no plates or knifes etc, but there is a fridge, microwave, water boiler and cups. Maybe this is okay because it will do with food from the convenient store or all the restaurants around.

The hostel was very nice and clean. Lovely concept. Simple rooms but the beddings were very comfortable. There are many interesting restaurants around and It is very close to the beach, especially when one wants to see the fireworks. The alleys around it are nice to walk around in also. The only problem is that the walls are thin and one can hear the other guests in their rooms and also some very loud cars outside. If the hostel could add noise-reduction materials in their walls and also change the windows to be more sound-proof, this would be an excellent, tiny and affordable hostel. They do offer free ear plugs, which are helpful.
