the location is a little scary to get to by foot late at night, but nothing crazy

I liked the ambiance, the people in the reception, the people in general. I liked that there were several ways to get in contact with the people in the hostel and that there is always something to do.

Spacious rooms; clean; kitchen, friendly staff. Close to public transportation. Not far from main tourist sites. I liked everything. I was hesitant to book this hotel because people complain about the location, with homeless people on the streets, but I realized this is almost normal in Athens in certain areas. I never felt unsafe.

The ambience was great, the staff friendly and the place was very clean. The showers were clogged and the shower heads on and of the shower could be adjusted, resulting in the stream of water aiming straight ahead and needing to hold it by hand in order to take a shower. Additionally, on our last night we had a friend leave a jacket at the front desk to our name but the jacket was mysteriously lost and despite our friend stating he was sure he handed it to the front desk girl, no one at the hostel acknowledged receiving it, and just told us it wasn’t their responsibility. While we understand that, the overall experience with the staff was that they were inexperienced and very disorganized. They asked us to wait for example while their looked for the jacket and then simply forgot they were doing that when we went to the front desk to ask again some hours later. Lastly we booked a bed on a 4 bedroom room but it had 5 beds, when asking they commented “its bookings problem not ours”. Again while that may be true, it just came across very unprofessional.

The location is super bad and sketchy. Not their fault but I didn’t know.

Paying for a towel and milk.

It's located near Omonoia square, very close to bus station and metro. Common areas are open for most of the day and spacious, there is bar where you can order drinks and meet up. Free fruit, coffee and tea in the kitchen, furthermore in the dormitory rooms each bed has a charging point, light and curtains that give privacy. ...

Very good preparation and lovely outside area Love that there were a lot of stored nearby Taxi service easily accessible Amazing staff Amazing vibes Neighborhood is a bit sketchy

The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, airconditioned and ours had an ensuite which was a real bonus. Also, the hostel has an easy-going vibe. The staff is very friendly, and the common space in the backyard is a nice place to hang out and meet other hostel guests. And the hostel provides tips for local dining and can help with the organization of some tours, which felt very traveller-friendly. The location of the hostel is not ideal. Though it is only a 7 minute walk to one of the metro stations and from there only 10 minutes into the fun neighborhood of Plaka, the area you have to walk through does not feel very friendly (and you are recommended to not walk there alone at night or go into a certain direction from the hostel). Additionally, the hostel is located next to an incredibly busy street which provided some noise during the night. Ear plugs are recommended. All in all, though, I still enjoyed my stay!
