Horrible experience all together. The place was dodgy and dirty. Didn’t meet my expectations at all. We had a double booking situation and I thought it looked nice enough on photos and maybe we can ditch the other reservations for a little gem in Maine. Bit was I wrong. It was dusty and weird and the owner didn’t refund our money. Everything squeaked and my allergies kicked in from the dust. Not pleasant Sorry the above was for what was wrong. But really it was a very poor representation of the photos. I refused to spend the night as it wasn’t handicapped accessible either. My husband is in a wheelchair from a stroke and there’s no way in earth we could’ve managed it.

We enjoyed a delightful stay at this beautiful inn that was incredibly preserved, maintained and decorated. We took many photos of the rooms, furnishings and skillfully placed art and period pieces. We stayed in the Maria suite which was gorgeous. The bathroom was amazing! The stained glass windows throughout were original and lovely to behold! The gardens beautiful. Olga was wonderful and couldn't have been more accommodating. She told us all about the history of this 1899 mansion with great pride. Thank you Olga for a wonderful experience!

Breakfast was excellent, the overall style and decoration of the house and each room were beautiful, and Olga, the hostess was warm and inviting, and very accommodating. The place was a great surprise gift to all of us after a long and exhausting day driving from Brooklyn. I liked everything there, do not have any negative comments and cannot think of any improvements to the place

Breakfast is an extra charge. Used soap in bathrooms. No cream or half n half. Only tap water for drinking. No ice. Home is beautiful. Hostess very friendly.

My complaint is for the Hotels.com website. The site was labeled as 2 queen beds. I was sharing a room with my brother. Day of check-in I found out there was only 1 bed. My brother had to book another hotel that was almost twice as much as this one. I end up paying the full amount for the one I had, was intending on splitting it. Olga had the site fixed ASAP, which I appreciated but it did not help my financial situation. She and her Inn is a great place but this should not have happened.

It was a quaint inn with an amazing keeper who was very informative about what is going on in the area and she recommended a great place to eat breakfast.

This is a great historic home. The owner was very friendly and kind. Only complaints were no tissue in the bathroom, and house was quite cold.

We stayed at the Munroe Inn for 2 nights to watch the solar eclipse and it was phenomenal. Olga could not have been more helpful or responsive and Inn is so charming, clean, and comfortable. Safety is a concern of ours as well and the Inn is in a residential neighborhood and is well lit for evening arrivals. Highly recommend!

Nothing The location was in a decrepit area. The house was run down. Minimum security.
