Maison Viktoria Augsburg

The hotel was very close to the historic Centre of Augsburg . There was a secure Carpark with moderate /low cost. Breakfast was excellent and all our wishes were met. The outside terrace was ready for an upgrade.

Location, cleanliness, air conditioning, gym, breakfast

We like the central location of the place. The bathroom / toilet wasn’t clean. There were pee stains and dead bugs. In the main sitting room, the sockets are partially coming out of the wall. The reception being staffed at certain times is even highlighted in the booking. However, at the advertized times nobody was there.

The very central location. That there was no front-desk staff available at hours when there should have been someone. I tried to resolve an issue I encountered on my departure day since going down to breakfast at 7, until 10 when I left. There wasn’t a soul. Reception hours should be listen clearly. Instead, you get to call a number answered by a BOT and when it cannot help, call is transferred to the equally clueless staff from a different hotel. The Maison staff, when available, are lovely.

Comfortable big rooms for a 4 member family, friendly and helpful staff.

A Coffee machine with free coffee all day is a great bonus. The hotel is small and quiet even though it's located at the train station area. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance (15-17 minutes walk) to shopping centers and the old city and it's attractions Breakfast was good. A parking lot at the hotel's yard, for 5 Euro per day. The mattress or the bed in our room made a noiy each time we moved... The room was quite small in relation to the furniture that are located there.

Room was comfy and nicely decorated. It’s conveniently in front of the HBF and the breakfast was really good. The wall was REALLY dirty and covered in dust… and I asked them to clean it, but when I came back to my room… it was still really dirty. I also disliked that the reception was almost never occupied. If you have questions, forget it.

Modern nice hotel, there is a cettle, a frigid. The price was fair for the value delivered. The location could not be better train travel. At the station but quite. What else can you ask for

Spacious, clean, big bathroom, nicely decorated, super close to train station and friendly and helpful staff. Wish the living area had a small sink.

Extremely difficult to access, without welcoming staff

This is the hardest review to write. There is a lot to love but the lack of staff and the checking in system justifies rating this hotel very low. Things to like: generally decent furnishings and clean rooms, good breakfast, nice common areas and touches (gummies, etc.), nice parking lot, nice lobby, air conditioning, good price. Checking in process is insane. Desk is never staffed. If you arrive after hours you have to go through the parking lot gate and the sign says to use your PIN but it doesn’t work. If you are lucky, a guest will let you in but then to get your room key, you need another code which also is not your pin. You call the number that they provide but it takes over 30 minutes for someone to pick up and it rings so long that the call gets disconnected multiple times. It took me 45 minutes to get my room key when finally someone picked up my call and gave me the right number to get my key. Of course there was no one there to verify that I was who I said I was. I almost gave up and went to the ibis. If I had and someone knew that I gave up they could have gotten my key and I’m sure that the property would have disputed a refund since the room was already paid for three nights before I arrived.

Maison Victoria is an absolutely delightful hotel. Beautifully renovated, great staff, brilliant location right opposite the railway station, and so many extra special complimentary touches - beautiful coffee and pastries and fruit 24/7, ice creams, lovely bottle of sparkling water in the room fridge. And air conditioning , which was certainly appreciated in the hot weather we had. Also loved having access to the outdoor seating area and had fun playing pool. Very happy we chose to stay here. The location of this hotel is great. It's close to the center of the city and all tourist attractions. We didn't use the breakfast option, but the breakfast room looks very nice; and everything is tasty in Germany. It was our first time in this hotel, so we didn't expect the self-check-in set up. It was pretty stressful for us as we are elderly people and don't know German. When my sister called to the hotel representative for help, the lady hanged up on her.

The elevator is so small for one person with 28" luggage, so yu need to wait a little bit.

Parking location ok Staff were really unusual

Good location, the room is small and dusty. When we checked in at 3 pm, the front gave us the key card without checking if the room was ready and then we got upstairs found out that the room was not ready. The lady was still cleaning up the room and we had to wait there in front of the room for 15 mins.
